Breaking News: Today the Legislative Auditors were recommending the Hoxie 2022 audit be given a “resolved” status. However, by the conclusion of the hearing the Senators and Representatives voted to have the issue investigated further. There appears to be allegations that the Hoxie City Council and Re-Use Committee were deceived into issuing a loan which indirectly enriched certain city officials and then those same officials attempted to cover it up. Special thanks to Coty Powers and Darrell Pickney for their continued patriotism involving the Hoxie Citizens for Good Government committee.

Never before seen body camera footage of Sheriff Tony Waldrupe on the day mayor of Hoxie City Hall Dennis Coggins tried to run over a local journalist with his pickup truck. Then 10 minutes later he confirmed his intent on body camera! This is from September 2023 and the prosecutors have failed to reach out to the victim. It is clear they are trying to let the statute of limitations run out! If this footage disturbs you, then you should exercise your rights and reach out to the Lawrence County prosecutor's office to see what answer they give you on why nothing has been done about it even with video proof?!? If they prosecutors do not uphold their duty to hold each citizen accountable for their actions, then that is considered discrimination and they are siding with the criminal in this matter!!!
