Heads up: There are some rumors circulating that pins are losing the visit site button because they're pinned to group boards, or they're going to sites with ads, or .
I would caution you all to focus on what Pinterest has told us directly about this vs. speculation.
My suggestion: don't change anything yet, if your site is high-quality and you're experiencing the loss of the visit site button on some pins, submit a help ticket and continue to follow up. I have watched it disappear and reappear on multiple pins today within an hour.
Frustrating...yes...but enough 'data' to completely change what you're doing on your account...not yet.
The ONLY data correlation I have on this is that it seems to happen more on newly published (I. e. fresh pins) than older pins. Out of every 50 pins that I've seen the 'visit site' button missing from, about 30% of them are newly published pins. I'm not saying it can't happen to older pins, it has, but it seems more frequent on new pins which would make sense if the 'Pinbots' are crawling new content to validate it and cross-reference it to the pin information.
I'll keep you all posted as gather more data-backed information on this or hear more directly from Pinterest.

I am excited to share an update directly from Pinterest on the ‘visit site’ button being removed from some pins. This update is from the Chief Content Officer at Pinterest and while this whole process has a long way to go, I am excited that we're hearing from Pinterest leadership on this and that they have in fact solidified that the ‘visit site’ button is here to stay.
Here the exact update from their Chief Content Officer:
“Thanks for raising this. Links are here to stay, and the “visit site” button is not removed. For a very small percentage of Pins that link out to an inconsistent Pinner experience (e.g. Pins that don’t match the landing page they are linking to), the “visit site” button may be found in the “...”
dropdown. Here’s a link with helpful information on how to provide helpful signals to our system to better understand your sites: https://help.pinterest.com/en/article/links-not-displaying-on-pins”
As I outlined below in previous updates, I think this will create a better user and creator experience in the long-run.
This means that pins will link to high quality content vs. spammy/AI ‘junk’. This is what we want! This update will cause some short term ‘growing pains’ as their bots learn to differentiate high-quality content vs. low-quality content but I urge you to be patient and vocal with Pinterest about these changes- if you see something not working properly, please reach out to them.
This also directly solidifies what I've said previously here https://youtu.be/EB3oAL3bBE8, regarding changing pin titles/descriptions, etc.
The URL above directly states: “Make sure the images, text, and keywords in your Pin match the details in the landing page.”
I'm hopeful they will roll out a reporting system soon to report these issues with high-quality pins/landing pages but in the interim, if you notice this on your pins I suggest submitting a ticket via their help desk. If you're a current client, I am actively monitoring this for you but if you notice one, please feel free to send it directly to me.
This Pinterest client came on board in August 2024 and look at these numbers:
➡️ 48% more outbound clicks
➡️ 22% more engagement
➡️ 20% more engaged audience
…and we’re just getting started. 🙌
If you’ve been thinking about getting your Pinterest together....whether you want to DIY it with my course or you’re ready to hand it off completely~I’ve got options for you!
✨But here’s the thing: I’ve got very limited spots open through August 2025. So if Pinterest growth is on your goal list, now’s the time.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and saw us at the All Things Real Estate show last week!
While we've been in business for almost a decade, it's been so wonderful to feel all of the love our local community has given us since we opened our store front in in October.
Being invited to be the exclusive marketing agency at this show was such an honor!
On top of that, being able to have my family at this show was one of those "this is so cool" moments. When I started this business, I simply wanted to stay at home with our newborn son (he's not so newborn now!) and wow...to have both of my kids, my hubby and my mom at the show was such a full circle moment. 🥰

A few days ago I shared to my Facebook group and email list an update to Pinterest that we're seeing. Some pins are losing the 'visit 'site button. Yesterday, I shared another update to my list - this is important if you're a creator on Pinterest. The update is below:
Quick update on the 'visit site' button debacle - as I mentioned I thought it was a glitch and it seems that it is. It's something that Pinterest is pushing out which in the long run, I think will really help many creators.
Pinterest as I've alluded to, is seemingly turning up their spam filters and making sure sites/pages are high quality, give a good user experience, match the pin itself, etc.
This is a good thing for all of us but it is causing some growing pains.
As I thought and said, it's not the user experience they are going for on all pins...just low quality pins. It's taking their systems some time to figure this out but I think in the long run this will drive more traffic to our sites than less.
Pinterest has told me in 2 separate instances today/late last night, when I pushed them on this the below:
"If the link you've attached to your Pin lacks one of the following requirements, the 'visit site' button is hidden.
The link successfully loads and does not lead to a 404 status or a 404 page
The link is relevant to the Pin, for example if your Pin is a soccer ball you cannot have a link that leads to a water bottle"
What you can do:
✅️continue to create high quality content
✅️make sure your pins aren't too far off from your actual post (title, description, etc.) - this seems to be something that they are monitoring and will do more of as more and more spammers try to game the system with a ton of keyword dumping
✅️make sure your posts/pages are optimized for site speed (another metric that is becoming more and more important)
✅️look at your ad density, if it's not easy to get to the post content for ads / pop ups etc, you might want to consider turning it down
✅️update older posts, are there search terms on Pinterest you could add into the post, questions people are asking etc.
✅️monitor your pins for this experience, if you see any with the button/link removed, reach out to Pinterest. they have bots that crawl these things and bots are bound to make errors unfortunately.

Let’s talk about some marketing mistakes I see way too often (no judgment, we’ve all been there!)
❌ Posting on social media with no real strategy and hoping for the best
❌ Spending money on ads or traditional marketing without tracking if it’s actually working
❌ Trying to do everything instead of focusing on what actually moves the needle
Here’s the thing, you don’t have to be everywhere. You just need to show up in the right places where your customers already are.
Need help figuring out what the right strategy is for your business? I'd be happy to chat!
Check out this Facebook case study for a food/recipe brand that came to me for a custom Facebook marketing strategy. In just a short time, they saw:
📈 5.4K new followers (+125.2%)
👀 412.4K video views (+27.3%)
⏳ 36+ days of watch time (+25.8%)
💬 4.4K interactions (+32.9%)
This is what happens when you have the right strategy in place! No guesswork, no wasted effort...just targeted, effective marketing designed to reach the right audience.
Ready to boost your traffic and sales through Facebook?
Pull up a chair—let’s talk strategy. ✨ Over the last few months, this table has seen brainstorming sessions, big ideas, and game-changing strategies come to life. Facebook? Google? Pinterest? Local ads? I know it can feel overwhelming trying to figure out where to put your marketing dollars.
The truth is, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer—every small business is different! That’s why I create customized marketing plans based on where your ideal customers actually are. No more wasting time (or money) on strategies that don’t work.
Ready to map out a plan that actually moves the needle? Let’s meet at the table (or virtually!)!
This food blogger saw a 77% increase in outbound clicks after working with us—and that’s not all!

Could I grow this into a big agency? Sure.
But that’s not my mission or vision. While there are plenty of great agencies out there, I’ve seen firsthand that many small businesses and bloggers get lost in the shuffle—paying premium prices for strategies that don’t actually fit their needs. That’s why I’ve built my business differently.
I believe in high-touch, customized marketing solutions that are both effective and affordable—because small businesses deserve strategy, not guesswork. If that sounds like what you’ve been looking for, let’s chat!

Lately, I’ve seen a lot of conversations about Pinterest, AI, and traffic—and I get it. There’s a ton of confusion and frustration out there, especially with all the changes happening on the platform. 🙄
I’ve been doing this for 10 years now—day in and day out—because I love helping others succeed, seeing small businesses grow, and watching creators do what they love. It’s a journey, and yes, the online world is always evolving. Platforms change, strategies change, but one thing stays the same: you and your ability to adapt.
Pinterest is no different. Yes, they’re changing. Yes, AI is a big conversation. But let’s remember—Pinterest NEEDS creators like you. They can’t survive without authentic content, and that’s where you come in. But if you’re feeling frustrated with drops in traffic or shifts in the algorithm, know this: it’s okay. We’ve all been there, and it’s part of the process.
The big question is: Will you stay or go? If you decide to stick with it, I recommend putting down the analytics, focusing on what you do best, and trusting the process. It’s not about instant results—it’s about building something that lasts.
At the end of the day, it’s your business, your strategy, and your choice. I’m here to support you either way. What direction are you choosing in 2025?

If figuring out marketing feels like throwing spaghetti at the wall and hoping something sticks, you’re not alone. Most small business owners I work with feel pulled in a million directions—social media, PR, local ads—where do you even start?! The good news? You don’t have to do it alone.
I create customized strategies that actually fit your business and budget.

🚨 If your traffic is dropping & income is suffering, read this! 🚨
One of my clients recently shared:
"My RPMs from Pinterest are nearly double what I get from Google—$45 vs. $24! Even though my Google traffic is more than twice my Pinterest traffic, the income difference is only a few hundred dollars. Crazy! I love growing my Pinterest traffic!!"
This is why I’m obsessed with Pinterest for bloggers & small business owners. It’s not just about traffic—it’s about traffic that actually makes you more money. 💰
Unlike other platforms where content disappears fast, Pinterest works for you long-term, bringing in consistent, high-value visitors (without constantly creating new content). So, yes... there might be frustrations with Pinterest (as with all platforms) but I am all about working smarter not harder and higher RPMs=smarter.
If you're tired of chasing trends & want a traffic source that converts, it’s time to focus on Pinterest! 🚀

Have you ever found yourself at a crossroads, confused…maybe feeling anxious or hopeless? I have. It was the beginning of a fresh start, but at the time I had no idea. As they say, I couldn’t see the forest for the trees. I couldn’t be in this amazing corporate career and the full-time wife and mom that I wanted and my heart desired to be. I couldn’t be everything. Anything, but not everything.
After I gave birth to my son, I was faced with the decision that many new mothers have had to make: to return to work or leave their career behind to stay at home with their new baby. Delivery was complicated & we ended up spending 2 weeks in the NICU. I found myself wondering daily, how could I stay home, raise this new baby, & bring in some extra money to support our family?
After a deep discussion with my husband & hours of research later, starting a blog started to sound like the perfect idea. I needed something for me, but also something that could potentially bring in a little money for our family. I learned along the way how to monetize & market, and it became a beloved passion project. It was this creative outlet that had been missing from my life. My blog following grew pretty quickly and almost immediately, I had a post syndicated by the Huffington Post. From there, I was asked to write articles for Scary Mommy, TODAY Parents, and more!
Pinterest became my networking watering hole. My blog views grew almost overnight from Pinterest, and blogger friends began to reach out asking for advice and strategy sessions. My ‘side hustle’ began growing immensely through referrals. After a few months, I decided it was time to turn this newfound passion into a business.
You’ve heard that quote, “I remember when I prayed for what I have today!” I think of that often! Here I am, several years later thriving and still growing.
Now, I am blessed to have been able to hire an amazing team and offer them the opportunity to live their dreams. On top of that? I get to work with the most amazing clients in the world, who are also…living out their dreams! I’ve been there, I’ve done it & would LOVE to help your goals, become your reality.
See the photo below? They’re the reason I do what I do, and my clients (YOU!) are the reason I am able to do it. I am so thankful for each of you!
