Big news for Southwest Virginia this morning. Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin has announced that Coronado Global Resources is launching a new $169.1 million venture that will create 181 new high-paying jobs in Buchanan and Tazewell counties over the next four years. The new venture is aimed at meeting the growing demand for metallurgical coal, which is an essential component of steel production.
