My Will , His Will

“Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”

Luke 22:42, NIV❣️

One of the best prayers we can ever pray is “God, not my will, but Your will be done.” When things aren’t working out your way, or when your prayers aren’t being answered as you would like, that either means that God is protecting you from danger up ahead, it’s not the right time, or God has something better in store. Too often, we’re shortsighted. He knows what’s best for us. He sees the big picture. He knows when something is going to be a dead end. He knows when someone is going to be a distraction to hinder us from our destiny.

Some of the things you may be frustrated about right now, ten years from now you will look back at and thank God for not answering that prayer the way you wanted or for not opening up that door. That’s what faith is all about. Why don’t you trust God? Believe that He has you in the palms of His hands and know that when it comes time for God to open a door, no man can keep it shut.👆🏻

What Do You See?❤️

The word of the LORD came to me: “What do you see, Jeremiah?”

Jeremiah 1:11, NIV❣️

God promised Jeremiah an amazing future, that he would speak to and impact nations, but Jeremiah made excuses that he couldn’t possibly do that. Doubt, fear, and insecurity clouded his vision. God touched his lips and said, “Don’t worry. I will put My words in your mouth.” God will never ask you to do something and not give you the ability to do it. Then He asked Jeremiah, “What do you see?” Jeremiah answered, “I see the branch of an almond tree starting to bud and blossom.” He was saying, in effect, “I see growth. I see new opportunities. I see me stepping into new levels.” Because his vision cleared, he went on to impact nations, to blossom just as God said.

God is asking you, “What do you see?” He has given you amazing promises in His Word, but maybe your vision has been limited by disappointments, setbacks, and doubts. Open your eyes to a new, fresh vision; clear out all the negative, limited thinking, and see yourself blessed, prosperous, healthy, achieving goals, building the kingdom, being a blessing. See yourself as God sees you.👆🏻

What’s In Your Hand?

Moses answered, “What if they do not believe me or listen to me and say, ‘The LORD did not appear to you’?” Then the LORD said to him, “What is that in your hand?” “A staff,” he replied.

Exodus 4:1–2, NIV❣️

When God called Moses to lead two million Israelites out of Egypt, Moses asked Him how he could prove to the people that God had spoken to him. God said, “Moses, what’s in your hand?” Moses looked down at his staff and must have thought, “It’s just a stick.” God said, “Throw it down.” He threw it down, and it turned into a snake. God said, “Pick it up.” He picked it up, and it turned back into a rod. God was showing Moses he had what he needed, even if it looked ordinary and insignificant.

You may have small faith today. That’s okay. Use it, and God can move mountains. You may have average talent. That’s all right. Use it, and God can do something exceptional. He’s going to multiply your talent, your resources, and your creativity. You may feel weak, but God is breathing on your dreams, your finances, your health, and your children. This is not the time to shrink back in fear. This is the time to move forward in faith. You are equipped with everything you need to fulfill your destiny.👆🏻

Your Blessings Are So Many, Lord!

MAY GOD BE GRACIOUS TO US AND BLESS US AND
MAKE HIS FACE SHINE UPON US.
( PSALM 67:1 * NIV ) ❣️

In this busy World of ours we often forget to stop and count all of our blessings. If we are not careful we will even take them for granted! So why not stop and count
your blessings today, for when you count them, you will find that there are many indeed! Also you will find that counting your blessings is a great way to begin each day as well.

Now the above verse reminds me of a poem that I very much enjoy. It was written by one of my favorite Christian
Poet's. So today I would like to share that poem with you, and it is my hope that you will enjoy it as well!

Your Blessings Are So Many, Lord!

Your blessings are so many, Lord,
To count them one by one
Would take much longer than a day
That has just now begun!

You fill each day with miracles
From dawn to setting sun.
Each night You hear a million prayers
When day's work is done.

You keep this old world spinning
As seasons come and go,
And each one is a masterpiece
That stets our hearts aglow.

You fill the earth with beauty, Lord,
With flowers, shrubs and trees,
And we marvel at Your rainbows
And butterflies and bees.

Your words still give us comfort

You may be discouraged today and think that your life situation will never change. Maybe you can’t see anything happening. But if the curtain was pulled back, you could see into the unseen realm. There, you would see God at work arranging things in your favor. It may not happen overnight, but at the right time, in your due season, God will not only move the wrong people out of the way, but He also will pay you back for every injustice. He will make up for lost time, open doors to the right opportunities, and bring the right people across your path. He’s even looking years down the road and arranging solutions to problems that you haven’t had yet. He will guide you to where you’re supposed to be.

You may have taken a couple of steps backward in recent times, but right now, God is going before you to prepare the next chapter of your life. If you stay in faith and keep the right attitude, you will enter a better chapter, a chapter with greater victories and greater fulfillment.👆🏻

How long are we supposed to be glad-hearted, to be happy in our faith and rejoicing? As long as people treat us right? As long as the medical report is good? As long as the economy is strong? No, the apostle Paul says “always.” That means in the good times and in the tough times, when your life is going great and when life feels depressing and gloomy, when it’s sunny and when it’s raining.

Jesus says that “in this world you will have trouble.” We all face disappointments, unfair situations, tests, trials, and temptation. But know this: On the other side of every difficulty and adversity is promotion, opportunity, growth, and increase. Whether the sun is shining or dark clouds are overhead, your Heavenly Father is in control, and He has promised to take care of you, regardless of the circumstances. Get up in the morning and have a song of praise in your heart. Keep your joy and be glad-hearted continually. God is about to show up and show out in unusual ways that will amaze you.👆🏻

Keep Growing❤️

Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.

Philippians 3:12, NIV❣️

God has put more in you than you can even imagine. You have gifts and talents that nobody else has. You have a responsibility not only to God, not only to your family, but also to yourself to develop what He’s put in you. Whether you’re nine or ninety years old, you should constantly be learning, improving your skills, and getting better at what you do. With the Internet, books, schools, and seminars, there is more knowledge available today than any time in history. Don’t settle where you are and get stuck. Turn off the TV and invest in yourself.

Too often we sit back and think, “God, I’m waiting on You for that big break.” That’s the wrong attitude. The people who get the big breaks are people who are prepared, who develop their skills continuously. You have to be proactive to take these steps to grow. When God sees you doing your part and developing what He’s given you, He’ll do His part and open doors that no man can shut.👆🏻

Live Your Purpose❤️

Many people today are not being true to who they are because they’re afraid they may disappoint someone, fall out of their good graces, or not be accepted. But you can’t live the life God wants for you, the life He purposed for you, if you are trying to be who your parents, who your friends, or who your boss wants you to be. You have to be true to who God made you to be.

After all, God doesn’t want you to be an imitation of someone else. You should be the original you were created to be. There is an anointing on your life, an empowerment, not to be somebody else, but to be you. If you let people squeeze you into their mold and you bow down to their pressure to try to please your critics, it not only takes away your uniqueness, but it also lessens the favor on your life. It’s time for you to go out and fulfill your purpose for your generation, run your own race, and to be free to be who you really are.👆🏻
