Platanus Editions will soon be releasing a multivolume set of handmade photography books. The photos are part of my long-form project in central Appalachia. Volume 1 features work from the initial months of the project, starting during the Covid pandemic from April to September 2020. Stay tuned for more in the coming week!

It's amazing to review a nearly perfect set of Folded & Gathered (F&Gs). If you're not familiar with the term, F&Gs are the book's printed signatures that have been cut and folded but unbound. This is our last chance to review and approve before we proceed. We are honored to bring book “Deep Ruts” to life.

These are digital proofs for Julie Rae Powers forthcoming book, Deep Ruts. The book contains color and black and white photographs. We are printing in 6 color offset, CMYK + duotone + spot gloss varnish. We received the F&Gs (the unbound book) for and Platanus Editions' forthcoming monograph "Ebb and Flow". After my thorough review, they are now on their way to Death Valley for a final review by TJ. We are pretty excited about the release of this beautiful new photobook. More updates to come soon!
