Road conditions are currently favorable following the recent snowfall. While some icy patches may remain, above-freezing temperatures and the eastward movement of the weather system are improving conditions. Road crews are actively working to ensure safe travel. Dusting to 2 inches.
Some areas could see up to 4 inches
(St Louis south) but highly unlikely in our area. Morning commute may be slick in spots give yourself extra time.

Snow will overspread central and southeast IL late tonight into Friday morning, and taper west to east Friday afternoon. Expect reduced visibilities and slick roadways during the morning commute. Leave extra time in the morning for travel, and take it slow to stay safe. Southeast of roughly the IL River, we're forecasting 2-4 inches of snow with areas south of roughly I-70 standing a 30-40% chance for seeing more than 4 inches.
