JC Studios was mostly made of up rehearsal rooms, some that artists rented hourly and some by the month, and hosted recording sessions as well.

There was a fire at our studio in 143 Columbus last week. We lost a lot of gear either due to fire or smoke/water damage. We've started a GoFundMe to help pay our employees and cover some of the expenses of relocating and rebuilding. Anyone who would like to help there's a link in our bio. And if you'd like to support our employee's bands/projects there will be links up on the JC Studios website soon. Thanks so much! And hopefully we'll see everyone at a new space soon!

So many people have reached out to express their support - thank you! We've always tried to be the "neighborhood music studio" - so it means a lot when you all have our back.

Hi everyone, unfortunately we had a fire overnight. Thankfully, no one was hurt but we had significant damage to our studios. We are closed for now - and reassessing things right now. If you had a booking with us and paid a deposit, please contact us to get a refund.

Thank you so much for all the lovely bands and judges and audience members who came out to the 2nd annual JC Studios and Porta Jersey City presents Battle of the Bands!!! We had so much fun and, despite a few power outages, the event went swimmingly!! Special thanks to our winners, 21 Kings! And our runner ups Andrew Wholf Band and Malatura! And of course, all of our other beautiful bands: Psilocybe NJ, The Riptides, Chief Pathman, Court Order, and Anchorette!!! Thanks to our judges Jim Testa, The Components, Sabrina Braswell, Benny Horowitz, and Neil Sabatino!!!!
