I wish I would be able to get to everyone for interviews before the fest but it is never easy. Something we started during the pandemic and I continue to do it at times. We got through a bunch but I had some personal family issues so it was a little crazy to fit them in for me and I was out of sorts. Maybe we will do something in the future where we continue to interview people under Brightside leading up to season 20.

Brightside season 20 just opened for March 8-9. Not sure how it will be crazier than this summer but I will try my best to make everyone have a blast once again. You can submut now on filmfreeway and see you in March.

19 seasons and 10 years gone by. We do this to celebrate filmmakers and to have fun. It is a bar fest so again you never know what could happen, but we do our best to bring as many filmmakers together as we can. There were 110 films screened over the weekend with high school, college sets, reunion sets and all the new ones as well. We appreciate everyone who was a part and thank you all for making 10 years just amazing. New season submissions will start soon.
