Mr. Dench is signing off for the last time.

Station Manager Tim Dench is leaving WJHI after 9 years at the helm.

During Mr. Dench’s time as station manager he helped create & design two radio stations (WJHI & WPMQ), design all three studios at the high school level, produce dozens of students into professional media, and help build WJHI as the community station of Jeffersonville.

Most importantly Mr. Dench wants to thank his students, Mayor Mike Moore, and the Jeffersonville Community for their constant support over these last 9 years.

Mr. Dench, we wish you the best of luck in your next chapter!

Jeffersonville is going to the Final 4!! The Red Devils comeback from down 9 at the end of 3 QTR’s to win 62-60 over Lawrence North. The Red Devils will play Ben Davis tonight at 8:00 p.m. winner goes to the State Finals. We love March!!!!

Rick Miller Tribute Video

Rick Miller was a unique individual. For 44 years he was the head coach of Floyd Central Tennis, 33 years as the teacher for WNAS Floyd Central, 34 years as a salesman at Schmitt Furniture, and 38 years as a member of Edwardsville United Methodist Church. Coach Miller retired as the all-time winningest coach in the history of Indiana High School Tennis, produced dozens of collegiate athletes & professional media members, but he was more known to everyone as a great man. His support from the WNAS Floyd Central to our WJHI program at Jeffersonville showed the type of man he was. He was always about uplifting any community. Without Rick Miller's support, our WJHI program wouldn't be where it is today. Below is a spotlight interview of Coach Miller that Mr. Dench & Mr. Ables produced when they were at WNAS Floyd Central in 2014. From his student-athletes, his Schmitt Furniture family, his church, to everyone in Southern Indiana. Thank you Rick Miller for making a difference to us all.
