Missouri Weather Watch and Photography

Missouri Weather Watch and Photography Thanks for following along! The page may say weather and photography but there is much more shared here.

The weather and photography is primary but during slower times other articles may be shared or whenever the mood hits to mix it up. Residing in Cole County Missouri, having been all over the state, loving our state, and the weather that impacts our everyday lives I am a NWS certified trained storm spotter with a passion and desire to keeping our state safe in the event of severe weather. As much

as humanly possible it is my goal with this page to reach and make aware to as many as I can advance notice of any severe weather that might adversely impact our great state.

Strong (G3) geomagnetic storm watch.

The partial halo CME observed leaving the Sun earlier today is predicted to pass Earth by New Years Eve (Dec 31). A strong (G3) geomagnetic storm watch will be in effect. This could carry into January 1st should conditions unfold as predicted. Perhaps some aurora to ring in the new year. More updates in the days ahead.
