Economic development is the backbone of a thriving community—it brings new businesses, creates jobs, and enhances our quality of life. As Jarrell continues to grow, we’re excited to see what the Economic Development Corporation has in store for our town.

We would like to thank Barry Cryer, JB Stockton, Edward Taylor and Thomas Slowbe for their service to our community through their leadership on the EDC board.

We are eager to see what Will Mallow, Joe Simmons, Larry Bush, Timothy Jordan and Dr. Toni Hicks will do to build upon the foundation established by the previous board!

Here’s to a prosperous future for Jarrell!

Jarrell ISD will operate on its regular schedule tomorrow, February 19th. We've been in communication with the National Weather Service. They anticipate precipitation will have dried up and won't impact the roads in the morning. Additionally, local meteorologists forecast the rain will end ahead of freezing temperatures. As a precaution, TXDOT is pretreating bridges and overpasses. Based on their information and discussions, we will have a regular school day.
