The Well Bred Book is the publishing/marketing company behind The Adventures of the Poodle Posse--canine kicks for young readers (ages 6-9),The Upside-Down Gardener and Once upon a Poodle. Founded in 2007, author/publisher Chrysa Smith put down her non-fiction magazine gigs for the short side---ie, writing for little ones.

Twelve years later, there are seven books, dozens of author visits and creative writing workshops for elementary schools, predominantly in PA, NJ, MD, NY, DE. The books have racked up three Mom’s Choice Medals, a top recommendation on Amazon’s Children’s Bookshelf and an endorsement from The Dove Foundation.
