The duration of TV and/or Internet service interruption will vary by neighborhood. Services will be restored as quickly as possible as technicians splice the fibers that serve your neighborhood to the new cable.Technicians will monitor service restoration. Shortly after 1pm Monday July 8, 2024, the signal light on the NE corner of 10th St & 4th Av SE (Cashwise intersection in Jamestown), was struck and knocked down. Workers are busy making repairs. The intersection is temporarily a 4-way flashing red all directions. Use caution going through the intersection.

(NDHP) The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that at 2 pm on Thursday Troopers responded to a rollover involving a semi near Jamestown. A Peterbilt semi and trailer hauling cattle driven by 25-year-old Dannie Swartzentruber of Browerville, Minnesota was traveling southbound on the Highway 52 overpass of Interstate 94. Swartzentruber was turning left to head east on the Interstate 94 ramp. He was traveling too fast while trying to turn, and the cattle shifted in the trailer. This caused the semi and trailer to tip on the passenger side. The semi and trailer came to rest on the eastbound ramp on its passenger side. With the assistance of Jamestown Rural Fire, Southwood Veterinary Clinic, and local ranchers, the cattle were transported to the Jamestown Livestock yard. As a result of the crash, 14 cattle were killed out of the 127 in transport. The crash is under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol. Previously Jamestown (CSi) A semi carrying livestock at exit 256 flipped onto it side, Thursday. Animals could be heard moving about inside the trailer. Southwood Veterinary was on scene to assist the North Dakota Highway Patrol and Stutsman County Sheriffs Department. More on this story when the NDSP release their report.

The end of an era . . . the last of the back walls of the former Eagles Club in Jamestown were demolished Mon Oct 11, 2021. The removal makes way for a 33 unit apartment - Eagle Flats - to be constructed on the site. Video by CSi.
