Have a seat. What are your three greatest lessons learned in 2023? Love to celebrate your personal growth wins with you! Share in the comments by writing in the affirmative!

I learned...
1. I have believed and trusted in others too much. I own that I projected that they would have the same heart of good intention. I am still in the middle between believing in all until they give a reason not to trust and not trusting at all and proving trust. And admit I haven't found my middle ground. The easiest way for now is to understand that my inner circle is for those who also share the same core values of growth, mutual reciprocity, and acceptance with believing in the best. And that in its own way, everything belongs to teach us to grow if we let it.

2. I've finally found how to live rested in my Essence and home there and my true nature. I also found I attract as much as I repel and really isn't about me but about what each person's own world is aligned to in their ability to see perspective and not be stuck at lower levels of conscience of being. My parent's passing and having to integrate my youngest not being with me as much as he is taller now and can elope because of his injury have been deep valleys that grew a lovely garden where pain becomes acceptance and growth and living remain and Life is within.

3. That with growth there is always joy and pain, in leaving behind the former and being embraced by the sacred eternal now that transcends time and space. That you have to hold the tensions to glean the pearl of wisdom.

4. A bonus! To create fun, anyways. Savor. Create and choose your own mood and create your own reality. People will always have opinions, don't worry - they are the lowest form of thought not based on facts and are their own projections anyways. So go dance on the beach in the moonlight & pray, burn the candles, soak in the Epson baths, savor your daily cuppa, because living is now. And you do not need anyone's approval or permission to be your own style!

Share yours and let's celebrate learning, growth, and being the evergreen & ivy anyways!

Much Love,
H

For centuries, early Christianity has focused on male leaders in the church. But there is plenty of evidence in the New Testament that women were actively involved in ministry, at the frontier of the gospel mission, and as respected leaders.

Gupta brings these inspiring women to light by telling of their many contributions to the planting, growth, and health of the first Christian churches. He sets the context by exploring the lives of first-century women and addressing common misconceptions.

Gupta then focuses on the women leaders of the early churches as revealed in Paul’s writings. We discover the major roles of Phoebe (Paul’s trusted coworker), Prisca (strategic leader and expert teacher), Junia (courageous apostle) and Nympha (representative of countless lesser-known figures).

When we understand the world in which Jesus and his followers lived and what the New Testament actually says about women in the churches, we can see that women were active and trusted leaders all along. These women were welcomed by Paul and other apostles. They were equipped and trained for ministry leadership, instructed others, traveled long distances, were imprisoned―and were heroes and giants too!

We were given a gift of peace of mind and heart. It's a spiritual peace not found in outward circumstances, but within, when we live led by our spiritual conscience (spirit/soul) created Imago Dei, so we are not to be intrinsically troubled or afraid in order to return to our true nature. We won't find this inner realm if not receiving divine love ourselves, because joy and peace are subsequent blessings to abiding in love, as defined by the teachings in the gospel of John.

And we are also to be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves in our dealings with those who intentionally choose to live from their small egoic minds and refuse to live by their inner conscience, as taught in application by Christ. See context of the gospels of Matthew 10:16 & John 14:27

This is essentially why we can trust God, because love trusts and lives abiding in the present with the One who supplies every need if we choose to remain living by our conscience clothed in the anointing (Christ). We know who we are in that state and don't need to focus on that because we have inherent dignity, whether those who choose to live from their little minds instead of the bigger mind of the heart.

Laugh! Have fun! Rest in the sacred divine embrace of Love in the sacred present now.

While we're waiting to do something important, God is doing something important in us.

Story after story in the Bible reminds us how God impositioned his people, only to position them. Remember Esther positioned inside the gate for those who were waiting outside it. He made Joseph uncomfortable in a prison to position him on a throne. He made Daniel lion’s food, only to proclaim His glory in the fire. He made Esther prepare her body and heart to be queen, only to position her to save an oppressed people.

He will do the same to you, for his glory. Do not despise where you are, it is for a reason✨

You are not your thoughts, feelings, emotions, intention, attention, nor body.

You are to steward them holistically well with loving-kindness, because you are not separated from Love, Life, and Truth within your eternal divinity made in the image of God; while fully living in your humanity, led by your Essence, or truest core self.

You, are sacred space. In that, our journey ultimately integrates our being-ness into our doing-ness where they seamlessly flow for the sake of others.

You, are already cherished! Be courageous enough to become it!

Much love and Joie de vivre'!

Dear Radiant Wonan, As a gentle reminder, those red shoes only fit your already loved True Identity. Wear those. As you are going, walk in the radiance of your embodied feminine True Self identity made in the image of God. Be who you were created to be, because God knew you before you were formed in the womb and each day you would show up fully, already loved, already valued, and already cherished. Attempting to live from a masculine mindset only hides your inner beauty.

Walking any other way is not the identity of love that gives freely. The alternative is walking with a self made identity of selfish ambition in order to get, which can cause a war within. The answer is to allow the wings of the mind to fold and gently nestle within the heart... do chose to walk from there.

Live from your higher conscience that is connected to the Spirit and you will radiate love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, and self control, which is protected by the First Amendment and you won't pursue happiness, it will be a result of having self-discipline of ordering your thoughts and will also regulate your emotions, gratitude, savoring, and loving self-care for the sake of others.

Be vulnerable enough to live from your True Self, it opens the door of authenticity, gratitude, joy, and wholeheartedness. Why do you quarrel or compare? Because you forget your True Identity isn't man made and attempt to prove your worth and value instead of accept and walk in it. Be bold enough to lovingly own your own attitudes, actions, and behavior if you forget.

Why do you become anxious? Because you haven't yet determined what you want and need to place strong and flexible internal boundaries around your heart and mind that would keep you free, focused in the present eternal now. And you could laugh at the future knowing you are already co-creating it now.

Why do you not forgive? Because you fail to see we are all made in the image of the invisible God as very good in our Essence and we can choose to do evil, harm, and cause hurt in our humanity when we refuse the divine love of God within to ourselves, and love ourselves appropriately in order to love others properly. Or the posture is from your mind, and not your heart that is led by compassion and wisdom of kindness to set internal boundaries to guard your heart.

You are to be the light that Christ taught we already are, living from the deposit of divinity of the Spirit that resonates with our spirit by conscious choice of awareness of Love, that is God, that abides within as we are going, not from egoic fearful constructs that result in our lower human nature of selfish ambition that creates disorder. Christ taught we were the light, when living from our True Selves found beneath the illusionary man-made thoughts that become our ego.

God's way of life, illumination, and love has always been higher. The most spiritual thing you can do today is to be an observer of your mind, so that you don't give your power away to the littleness of who your thoughts attempt to tell you you are.

Rest in the Truth of already being loved, already being the light, and you will subsequently quiet that ego with reassuring embrace, and it will eventually learn, it was never designed to be walked in, nor to lead the way.

Embrace and embody all of who you were created to be, and design your life from the inside out to walk in it from your intrinsic beauty of your Essence ~ created in Imago Dei, wearing the red shoes today. Remember those, they remind you that you are already loved, the ones that give you permission to appropriately love yourself so that you overflow to properly love others? Wear those and empower others to follow your lead.

Much love,
Heather

What is inside the figurative baggage we can carry daily is often weighing us down. Figuratively, we can carry such erroneous beliefs such as "not good enough", "having to prove our worth", or the belief that there's only a path of "trying hard". These beliefs do not align with the teaching of Christ of the abundant life available now within, see John 10:10. These beliefs are deceptive, because they "sound true" on the surface but do not align to the Truth that sets us free; John 8:32.

Christ already assumed we properly love ourselves in order to love others as mandated in the 2nd New Testament Comnandment, essentially summing up the 5th-10th commandments documented in the book of Exodus of the Hebrew Scriptures.

Replace the above falsehoods with "I am already created worthy by being made in the image of the invisible God within". "I love myself in the same and like manner as I love others and relinquish my ego to be embraced in divine love and already live loved because I am courageous enough to recieve it". And "when I am consciously aware of God, and the Spirit residing within as divinity within, I can "be" and doing is merely a byproduct" instead of a goal. And the new shift of doing flowing from being becomes easy.

Henri Nouwen penned this concept in this way, "Success, popularity and power can indeed present a great temptation, but their seductive quality often comes from the way they are part of a much larger temptation of self-rejection. We have come to believe in the voices that call us worthless and unlovable, then success, popularity and power are easily perceived as attractive solutions to our desolate condition... Self-rejection is the greatest enemy of the spiritual life because it contradicts the sacred voice that calls us the ‘Beloved.' Being the Beloved constitutes the core truth of our existence.”

Love never called you to self-abandon nor self-reject the exquisite and beautiful humanity you are, especially containing the divine invisible image within as a spark of God's divinity of the Spirit.

Live loved, Beloved. Learn to receive your true identity and Essence.

Joie de vivre' in the present eternal now,

Heather

“Contemplation is meeting as much reality as we can handle in its most simple and immediate form—without filters, judgments, or commentaries.

The ego doesn’t trust this way of seeing, which is why it is so rare, “a narrow gate and a hard road that leads to life, and only a few find it” (Matthew 7:14, New Jerusalem Bible). The only way we can contemplate is by recognizing and relativizing our own compulsive mental grids—our practiced ways of judging, critiquing, blocking, and computing everything.

Depth psychologist David G. Benner offers the following framing of Christian contemplative practices in a way that can help deepen our experience of them:

The Christian forms of meditation bring us to the question of the relationship between meditation and prayer. This is an important question because I think there are limits to what meditation can, in itself, accomplish that are overcome when meditation is placed within a context of prayer.

Although contemplative prayer and meditation may share many features, contemplative prayer is wordless openness to God. Hence it involves a relationship. It is this intentional openness to God while setting aside thoughts that makes contemplative prayer so deeply transformational.
Contemplative prayer always requires hospitality to your deep self, to the deep parts of your self. It demands the openness to receive whatever might arise in you and then gently release it into God’s hands. But in prayer you are not alone as you open yourself to whatever might emerge. You do so in a relationship that provides a safety and support in holding whatever emerges. That which arises might come with a flood of emotional intensity. Sometimes, being still before self and God releases a torrent of emotions. Tears may be intermixed with joy. . . . But whatever emerges in silence and stillness before God emerges in the place within you in which you are held within God. It emerges, therefore, within the context of prayer, whether or not you are thinking of God or talking to God. Your openness to God makes it prayer.

Thomas Keating describes what happens in stillness and silence before God in unworded presence as divine therapy. It may involve an unloading of the unconscious, but this is only the visible face of the invisible process of reworking your unconscious, a process that is going on as you sit in stillness before God and yourself. . . . This isn’t the time to try to understand the things that float to the surface of your consciousness. Instead, it’s the time to simply note them and then release them to God. But as you recognize their presence, you become aware of what exists within you, and you have an opportunity to peek at the deep hidden work of healing and transformation that God is doing in your soul. This is the transformational way in which contemplative prayer works.”

Reflecting in this liminal space before the dawn of 2022? Relinquishing is a spiritual practice of surrender to what is in order to allow space for what will be.

What are you ready to let go of, or relinquish in 2022? Question 2

Find a place to become still and interiorly settled. Hold this question in listening prayer and reflection. What resonates with your heart and mind in unison with the answer to this question? Is your life, time, energy, or focus currently functioning past margin?

Are you resonating with an invitation to let go of default mindsets, attitudes, habits, or behaviors led by emotions or unexamined thoughts rather than your core values and identity in Christ of already being enough, already loved, and already valued?

What resonates when leaning into intuition, often the interior resonating witness in the conscience of the Holy Spirit?

What goals or outcomes are you focusing too intently and missing enjoying the present journey?

What growth comes to mind when you visualize or imagine letting go of fear, or otherwise, and instead choose to courageously and fully be present in the next step?

This liminal time of the year is an invitation to discern what matters most.

Joie de vivre,

Reflecting in this liminal space before the dawn of 2022?

What are you longing for most in life? Question 1.

Hold this question and follow its roots in listening prayer and reflection. What resonates with your heart and mind in unison with the answer to this question? Does your life currently have space to hold the answer? What needs to be rearranged? What growth comes to mind to fully appreciate the answer?

Christmas,
or spring,
or summer,
could be anytime of the year.
We often wait for Christmas,
for spring,
for Friday,
for summer,
for someone else
to fall in love with us,
to dream,
to be,
for … life.
But, life happens now,
love happens now,
happiness is created now,
and deep joy and peace are now.

The truth is,
If your thoughts don’t live in the present moment,
If your emotions aren’t self-stewarded,
If you don’t know and live from your core values,
If you don’t already healthily love yourself now,
You are going to miss
all you long for…
You will likely search
to fill a need
rather than meet what is now,
You will miss the gift -
the opportunity,
for the present,
for joy,
for a loving friendship, partnership, or otherwise,
And discard the beauty of growing.
Why? Because it won’t be recognizable with the wrong lense of filling an unmet need, the past, or future.

So go ahead,
Live consciously,
Be brave enough
to receive divine love,
God-with-us, now.
Be courageously committed
to truth, now.
Self-steward and show up
for yourself, now.
Use your voice, now.
Love yourself enough
to provide self-care, now.
Love others, now.

It is then, in this present now,
you will see clearly,
And integrate that you are already loved,
And discover the ability to love yourself appropriately, now
in order to
love others properly, now.
Happiness has always been an intentional inside creative
self-stewardship,
not something to chase,
grasp,
or wait to arrive,
much like being loved and living life.

And when you live this way,
You resonate with others,
That also live
This beautiful, well-being kind of life and living…
The kind we were all created to live,
In the present moment of now.
It is where God-with-us abides, now, as I AM, because God is love and receiving love is a present state of being.

Go ahead,
Open your internal gifts now.
It will make this current season about being fullly present to God, self, and others, now.
And you will see it was never about creating happiness to begin, but living in the deep abiding peace, joy, and good-will towards all.

Dare to live
calmly vivacious
and fearlessly authentic
now.
Why?
Because you
are the exquisite gift
to be shared
with others,
even when others cannot see.
And if you
never open up
to already being sacredly embraced,
being love in action,
and all you are,
and all you dream to be,
What exactly will you will have share with others now?

Joie de vivre & Merry Christmas,
♥️ Heather Dawn

Our Story

Welcome!

Birthed in 1993 on a university campus in the heart of a yound lady who sought how she may best serve others, and graduated with a BS and AA’s in 1994 in communication, business, and non-profit ministry focusing on education and pastoral care.

In 1996, Intrinsic Beauty was incorprated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Intrinsic Beauty’s inception began with providing retreats for Teen Ladies and speaking at Women’s Retreats across the nation and overseas. These were oftern regional and held at high end hotels at cost only for teen girls with all volunteer staff. Theme sessions were held and concluded with honoring each teen lady in a fashion show format with family and friends in attendance celebrating the young lady for her character, aspirations, favorite Scripture, and goals and given a white rose. Heather formed a board that consisted of numerous volunteers and was on staff at a local parish and ministered to women in the Colleyville, Texas area, coordinating a leadership team of 20 and hosting monthly dinners with speakers, childcare, and dorrprizes and coordinating missions trips and retreats. Heather also provided monthly direct outreach by speaking to teen ladies partnering with the state and non-profit organizations.

In 1998, Heather began graduate school, and traveling and speaking slowed as academics were a focus. She graduated in 2000 with an academic MA inBiblical Literature with high honors, focusing on ancient languages of Hebrew and Greek and Rabbinic Lierature, with a thesis regarding the Book of Esther, and voted by professors as the Outstanding Academic MA in the Seminary.
