It's hard to feel anything but grateful for these two, their families, and their friends!

This past weekend with Maria & Landon was one of the most beautiful, reverent, joyful, and jazzy weekends ever!

Maria and her girls got ready at Timuquana Country Club, while enjoying a few early sneak peeks of the reception space! The couple had their wedding mass at my favorite church in Jacksonville, the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception!

Following the mass, they returned to Timuquana to celebrate the sacrament of their marriage with all of their nearest and dearest!

I was blown away by the love that these two emanate, not only for each other, but for each and every person present. You could truly see the love of Christ shining in their lives. And what a beautiful witness to the world!

We are beyond blessed to have been there for you two, and to be a part of one of the most special weekends of your lives! ❤️

Ross' boat got a hole in it and it started to sink! 😱

When Laura didn't freak out, that was the moment that Ross knew she was the one!

Laura and Ross's wedding was so beautiful and their love for nature was shown throughout all of the little details and design. In the early morning, I asked Ross, "When was the moment you knew Laura was the on?" And he told me about the above story!

It came full circle when towards the end of the evening, Ross' best man relayed the same story to all 300 of their guests in his toast!

Merry Christmas from our (growing) family to yours!

Happy Birthday Jesus! It was so special to be able to show Aurora our nativity scene Christmas morning. (I will share on my stories) We kept baby Jesus hidden away until Christmas morning and it really brought to life that Jesus is now born!

It has been the most beautiful advent having Aurora participate in all the traditions. When we would sing oh come oh come Emanuel in the evenings she would say "oh come oh come oh come oh come" over and over and pretend to read off of her music sheet. It was adorable. And now to celebrate the 12 days of Christmas... 🎉🎉🎄🎉🎄🎊🍾. All Through December we focus on preparing our hearts and homes for Jesus and then going all out celebrating his birthday for 12 days. Which leads right up to the epiphany when we celebrate the wise men coming to Jesus. This is the way Advent and Christmas were celebrated before Hallmark 😜.

We’ve started reading parts of JPII homilies together at breakfast every morning. And pretty much every homily is about marriage and family life! Which is so awesome and totally sets the day for living out our vocations as husband, wife, and parents. As well as gives me a clear vision of what marriage is all about when I serve you.

Neil and Linnea have known each other since they were basically tiny children! (And I’ve had the pleasure to know them since those early days too 😜). They really are such an inspiration to real love. And they are so excited for family life which is just like the outpouring of married love. I personally want my kids to be friends with their future kids because I know that their family is going to be grounded in Gods design.

Your wedding and everything you bring to your wedding day is inspiring the next generation. Telling the next group what marriage looks like! Which is amazing and such a great opportunity.

It’s truly amazing to see you come together to this Holy Moment.

I love Catholic Weddings! Seriously will go above and beyond to be able to capture a Good ol’ Catholic Wedding.

It’s so great how ever since I’ve started talking about the beauty of being Catholic. I’ve had so many Catholic couples reach out! And even other Catholic vendors too!

But like seriously, it’s SO important to actually have Catholic vendors working your wedding day. It makes the day and especially your mass, so much easier. Because we understand, and know what are the most important parts to be captured at a Catholic wedding. Ehhhem that picture of you both kneeling at the altar during consecration is definitely one of my favorite shots.

Overall Catholic weddings are just so beautiful, so real, so reverent, so holy. Something that gives me the greatest joy to be a part of.

In 2020 the year everyone complains about, I had the best year of my life.

My daughter Aurora was born and everything changed in the best way possible.

We bought our house out in the country. It’s our little piece of paradise. Also giving us the city separation we needed to avoid all the 2020 craziness.

I got to film more weddings than ever before.

Considering personal vows... Read this first! 👇🏼

Personal vows can be so heartfelt and emotional, and it really opens it up for you to be more vulnerable with your future spouse on your wedding day.

Here are some of Taylor’s sweet words to her soon-to-be husband, “Garret, you are the most incredible person I have ever met. The one who I have felt more myself with than ever before. The only one, who I know without a shadow of a doubt, that this life is infinitely better with than without…”

And “…I vow to seek the patience that love requires, and to cover you in prayer, now and always. I vow to listen to the words you speak and to listen more intentionally for the ones you don’t.”

I don’t know about you, but Taylor’s vows had me bawling!

If you are going to write your own vows though, don’t take it lightly! You are vowing these words to your future spouse, and these words are meant for life! You might not want to vow that you will bring home Starbuck’s everyday… Unless you really do plan on doing that for the rest of your life...😳😂 WHEW!

Of course, I always love to be able to incorporate your personal vows into your wedding film as well! Just think about hearing those sweet words from your spouse ten years from now!😭 That is going to be priceless.

If you want to take the "Personal" part of personal vows to the next level, a great option is to have a first look with each other before the ceremony and profess your personal vows to each other then. This is a sweet way to still have a time to share your undying love through personal vows to each other, while still being able to control your composure during the ceremony! (Maybe🤞🏼😜)

This day was MIND BLOWING! 💥🤯

Natalya and Wesley's emotional and powerful love was shining through every single moment from this day!

When I was taking with Natalya and Wesley before their wedding day, they told me that all of the beautiful details, all of the meticulous planning, the cold sparks, the reflective aisle, the cherry blossom trees, all of it was just a reflection of the love they have for each other.

I DON'T have a degree. I started filming weddings 5 years ago, and my first wedding was a tiny sunrise beach wedding, where I didn't have ANY idea what I was doing!

Flash forward to now, where I get to travel all over the South Eastern United States so that I can film your wedding! And let me tell you, it has been such an amazing journey.

It’s the 10,000 hour path. Have you taken that road? 😂 It’s crazy. I have spent the past five years grabbing onto everything I can to learn, grow, and work. Some people call it self made. But heck In the tough times it was definitely not me getting myself through the thick of it. I let Jesus lead the way.

So yeah, maybe I don’t have a degree, but that's not going to stop me from doing my very best to serve every client, and continue to learn and grow! Ultimately though, there is only so much that I can do by myself. God has given me the entrepreneurial drive and so many blessings!

I just wanted to stop and say a huge THANK YOU!! We were voted best videographer in Jacksonville for the 2nd year in a row, and I am just so grateful for all of you!

God has truly blessed us in this business and has allowed so many incredible opportunities so far. I am continually humbled and just so grateful for all of the gifts he has given us.

I also want to say a huge thank you to my wife Morgan. She puts in so much work behind the scenes on our business, and constantly just takes care of our family and my well-being! She is my rock, she gets to hear every idea, she helps me when I get stuck, and also her cooking is delicious! 😆

The other day I heard something that completely changed my life!

While I was in my car, I was listening to podcasts and I found an episode by Fr. Mike Schmitz called 'The Key to a Happy Death'. I noticed it was only 8 minutes long, so I decided that I should see what he had to say...

Fr. Mike has been with many people, young and old, as they are on their deathbeds. And he was asked the question, "Are people who live a long and fulfilling life more ready to die?"

His answer was simple, "Given that one metric, no." He then went on to say that the more we are given in this life, the more we have to hold on to. Which can make it harder as we approach death.

But, Fr. Mike went on to say, " I know 15 year olds who have died, and as they approached their death, were so full of gratitude that they got to live for fifteen years on this planet. They got to know who Jesus was... They got to know the love of God and the love of their family. And they died a happy death."

How could that be? He says, "Those of us who believe that life is owed to us, are not ready to die. No matter how much of life we get, we will not be ready to let it go. But, those of us who believe that life is simply a gift, that we were not owed one day, but that with every new day and every breath that we take, we are receiving a gift. When God comes to say that our life is over, we will have nothing else to say, but 'Thank you'.

It's that simple, our life is a gift. Every single moment that I get to spend with my wife, every night that I get to sing my little girl to sleep, every struggle I endure, every breath that I take, is a beautiful gift. And I am so grateful to have a Heavenly Father that loves me enough to bless me day after day.

This one is going to cause some controversy!

Since what I do as a filmmaker revolves around weddings and marriage, I truly want you to have the best marriage ever! So here is marriage tip #4:

Talk about your money and get on a budget with your soon-to-be spouse. You have to be on the same page with your finances! Not being in agreement on your money and finances is one of the leading reasons that marriages fall apart.

When you get married, you give everything to each other, even your bank accounts. Talking about your finances and coming to agreements with your fiancé before you get married, will help you to have a deeper level of trust and security in your marriage! My wife and I were quick to download the EveryDollar budgeting app when we first got married! To this day it has blessed our marriage by helping us be on the same page and in-the-know on where our money is being spent. We make decisions together, and we continue to work towards our goals as a team!

And NO, having a budget doesn't mean that you can't have fun. Creating a budget actually gives you permission to spend money without having to worry or feel guilty about it. A budget is just a plan where you control your money, instead of letting it control you!

I dare you to try and read this without smiling! I dare you.

"Wesley often says that he loved Natalya since he first saw her in 9th grade at High School. The truth is they both had the BIGGEST crush on each other, but neither had the courage to say anything.

In their senior year, they ended up walking around the track together and finally shared that they had always had feelings for each other. Timing is everything, however, they went back to college in different states, and parted ways.

As their first year in college concluded, they returned to Orlando for the summer, reconnected, and fell deeply in love. It was the best time of their lives. They spent countless hours listening to music and staring at the stars.

It was then that they realized they were soulmates–but at 18 and 19 years old, it wasn't in the cards for them. After that summer, neither contacted the other again.

Though they did not try to reconnect, they both described their time apart as one of the most heartbreaking times in their lives.

They longed for each other, but still, neither reached out. Today, they would say it was God that created that separation as their love was too intense to withstand their youth at that time. They both moved forward with their lives...or so we thought!

Eight years later, Wesley made a bold move and wrote Natalya on her page saying, "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE." When she got the notification, she pulled her car over in disbelief and was overwhelmed with emotions. She knew EXACTLY what he meant. From that point on, they reconnected and quickly became best friends again.

In 2018, Wesley and Natalya made a promise to never leave one another's side again. They put God at the center of their relationship and everything else fell right into place."

1. I decided to become a wedding filmmaker when I was 12 and started making YouTube films.

2. I grew up on 27 acres and helped raise 100+ chickens.

3. I was in a car crash where the truck rolled 3 times and my only thought was, "Is my camera okay?"

READ if you want to know the 3 BEST ways for you and your fiancé to have emotional moments captured while enjoying your wedding day!

✨ It's okay to let down your guard and run with your emotions. Take time to breath and be slow. When you feel your emotions welling up, whether it's joy that makes you want to laugh or sentiment that makes you want to hug and cry, you are allowed to be in those emotions! No, you are SUPPOSED to be in those moments. This is your wedding day.

✨ I've been to a few weddings before, and I'm here to say it, everyone attending your wedding will think that you two are the MOST adorable people. And everyone is so happy for you. When you kiss, hearts are melting. When you dance, people are in awe. So feel free to embrace the fact that everyone thinks anything you two do is adorable!

✨ Sometimes it's just a matter of looking into each other's eyes and talking about what you will have for breakfast tomorrow. 😂 Haha but for real, whatever you need to do to feel natural and just enjoy yourself!

I started to doubt myself... Editing films is an experience every time. A creative process that really challenges the left side of my brain. We typically end up crying over your adorable-ness, laughing, or just getting chills at the power of wedding vows. No joke, there is a beautiful power, in wedding vows. I don't make cookie-cutter-films.

I am a firm believer in taking individual time and attention for each couple. Throughout the ENTIRE engagement, wedding day, and every day following I ensure a unique experience. Quality over quantity, Quality over speed. Because I want to give you guys a can't-stop-smiling moment when watching your film.

Morgan and I both participate in the editing process. I edit and then Morgan and I will review each draft. Plus I like to see her reactions. 😜

Sometimes the thoughts creep in, should I just simplify my editing process and take on more weddings...?

Then when I sit down and start editing the left side of my brain starts to turn. And I am all in! I think of the joy of delivering incredible pieces of art that are tailored to each couple. And I'm like "LETS DO THIS!"

We are in the heart of wedding season and in between the hype of it all, I am getting SO excited about a handful of films that are in the works! These upcoming films are SO good! I am daily getting goosebumps and getting so hyped. So yes, feel free to get hyped too! These films are going to be so good.

You will NEVER guess what happened yesterday! 😱

So if you don't know I have a little daughter, Aurora. She's 10 months old and she is the sweetest little girl. Morgan and I always joke that God sent us Aurora and said, "Here is your practice round, I'll send the real kid later." 😜 She is just so good.

Anyways we were all outside enjoying the nice weather, playing badminton. Which we are like SUPER bad at.

And we look over to where Aurora is just sitting in the grass, being perfect as always, and SHES CLAPPING!! Like two hands, smacking together, clapping 🤯🤩.

She hasnt done it again since but I'm pretty sure she was clapping for me and my epic 😅 badminton skills.

But seriously it was just like a moment. Have you ever had a moment where you were just like, oh my goodness that just happened!?! Definitely a moment I don't want to forget. Can you relate?

You wake up in the morning ready. Heart beating. Fluttering. You've barely slept but you are wide awake. You laugh and sit up straight as your hair is getting done. Trying to not smile too much because your cheeks and starting to hurt. Every time you think about what your groom could be doing right now you get a rush of excitement. It's happening today is the day!! All your friends are wearing robes, your own robe is silk. The videographers and photographer arrive. It's getting real! The day has only started and the excitement is in the air. You get to put on your dress and you look beautiful. Everyone looks beautiful. Everyone is ready to go.

My team is with you from the start of the day to the days end. That's why I know how important it is to have a relationship with you guys.

Throughout your engagement we take time to carefully talk about your wedding day, your relationship, your dreams, and your love story.

I have this 5 year Q and A book that my wife and I fill out every evening. The question the other day was what do you want to be doing in 5 years.

5 years ago I wrote. “ I want to be a film maker, travel the world, tell people’s stories and make the world a better place through my films.” Not going to lie I had no plan of how to actually do this 😂

Pretty cool to see that God has brought me to a place and allows me to make films!

Little did I know it was a possible feat. Or that capturing beautiful weddings and love stories would become my passion. My priorities have become a lot clearer in how I would be a film maker, and make the world a better place.

I get to travel all over Florida, and create films for couples so that in 5, 15 or 60 years they will be able to look back and grow closer together as they watch their wedding film. To me that is what it’s all about.

If I can help people grow closer in their marriage when they watch their wedding film that is how I can make the world a better place. Supporting the holiness and sanctity of marriage is my goal.

How has your life changed in 5 years? Did you have any crazy dream jobs when you were younger?

Growing up my wife wanted to own a children's cooking school. 🤪 Now she says she'll just teach Aurora how to cook and check that one off the list 😜.
