Publix has some good deals this week!! My total came out to, $154.16 for all this , and I thought that wasn't bad.... considering what I got , and the price of groceries these days. 🥴 (Also, I know my nails need to be painted so, don't judge lol ). This wasn't even everything I wanted to buy either, they were just out of the few things that I wanted. I'll go back before the sale is over, and see if they've restocked. ✨I can't stress this enough. To get the most of your money, buy what's on sale !! Shop sale ads and see what the deals are. BOGO is your friend!!! Lol. Check out the coupons, and use the customer loyalty programs that most stores have. ✨For example, when I shop at Winn-Dixie , I earn points and I can turn those points into money, and use those for groceries on a rainy day . The most I have ever had built up was almost, $100!! Most of my meals, drinks, and kids snacks are all based on what's on sale that week. ✨If there isn't really a good ad ,or much on sale I'm interested in, I try to use what's in my freezer or pantry, and just buy the sides or whatever else I need to make it a complete meal. Anytime, someone comes in our daughter's room, Luna immediately meows, and takes notice . Her eyes follow you around the room. Honestly, I don't even think I've ever even seen the cat sleep before. We have always called her Lily's, "guard kitty." We have had Luna for about three years. From the beginning, she immediately got close with our daughter, and she hangs out in her room 99% of the time ; the other 1%, She is out in the kitchen eating . Even on days that our daughter falls asleep in the living room, We will notice that Luna will a lot of times find somewhere to sit that is close our daughter as she sleeps. She seems to kinda follow her where she goes. Cats have been thought to get rid of Evil spirits and bad energy. Russians used to let cats enter a house before they would buy it to , get rid of all of the negative energy, and Egyptians also held them to a higher standard. Egyptian's felt the cats brought good luck. That's just to name a few. The road our neighborhood sits on has, history and it said to be haunted. We have seen things in and around our home, as well as our neighbors. I noticed that for a while we were having a lot of paranormal activity. It seem like after we got Luna, it all died down. We still see and hear things from time to time but, not like we used to. Maybe she is our little protector. Elvis didn't have any self-portraits hanging in, Graceland. The one hanging to the left of the stairs when you walk in, was originally hanging in Vernon's office (His Father) , and it was later brought into the home for tours. ✨The Living room/Music Room had a 15 foot couch with, a 10 foot coffee table. Since Elvis was a student of religion, he later added the Stained glass peacocks. Peacocks are an ancient Christian symbol that, represents resurrection, and eternal life. ✨The Dining Room was where they would eat dinner every night, between 9 and 10 PM. The China that's on the table, was the actual China that was used at , Elvis and Priscilla's wedding . Elvis sat at the head of the table next to the television. This was also the room where they put up their Christmas tree every year . ✨In the music room behind the living room, you'll see the piano, and that is where Elvis spent many hours, singing, and playing. Of course, his favorite type of music to play was gospel, and he was known to sit there for many hours playing just that. ✨His parents bedroom , still has the original wallpaper up in the bathroom that was connected to it ... his mother picked out. Some of her clothes and other things are still hanging in the closet. Even though this started out originally as his parents room, after his mother passed away, it ended up being his, Grandmother's bedroom. ✨The kitchen still resembles the 70s and how Elvis left it. He always had up-to-date, and the newest appliances. Like the microwave that still sits on the counter from the 70s. There was always somebody on staff to prepare meals for the family and guests, and they would come and go in different shifts. Lots of Southern/ Soulfood was made in the kitchen daily. ✨The TV room was used for of course, watching TV and entertaining guests. Since Elvis was really big into sports, he had the three TVs so he could catch all the games at once. To the right was a built-in jukebox and to the left was his person
Okay so, long story short... we were out of town, and my phone got a notification that, something triggered the camera at the front door. I picked up my phone and went to see who was at the door, and I remember not seeing anybody, but not really thinking much of it because, we were in the middle of something, and sometimes the camera is triggered for the smallest things. When I went back and looked at it though, I just thought it was really creepy because , it almost looks like a black tumbleweed looking shadow. Whatever it was, it set the camera off , and I've never seen anything like it before.
I absolutely 💯 believe in ghosts and spirits but, I've personally never seen one. We do have suspicions, that our house is haunted from time to time but, more so the land that my neighborhood sits on is , full of a bunch of spirits. (It's an old, Civil War camp). I'm trying to think of anything else this could be, but I just can't come up with anything. I have some good ghost stories for a later time. One of my favorite memories with my, Nanny was her hummingbird feeders. I think I owe my love for them, to her. In this particular video, I'm making enough nectar to fill a larger hummingbird feeder.
