📅 November 7, 2024 | 10:30am

The event will celebrate the service of our UNF military Veterans and their families with a showcase from UNF’s ROTC Color Guard as well as a performance from the UNF Brass Quintet.

Scott Kelly, a retired Naval Commander and adjunct professor at UNF, will be the keynote speaker for the event. Appetizers will be served, and hyper-local military-connected organizations will be tabling outside the Student Union

| Face your fears as you run or walk this thrilling 2.7-mile course through the Eco Trails where scare actors will pop out along the winding trails. Sign up as a racer or volunteer (either as a scare actor or event assistant). There will be prizes for the best costumes, and all participants will receive a T-shirt or other UNF gear. Makeup and fake blood will be provided for scare actors. Volunteer check-in is at 5 p.m., racer check-in at 5:30 p.m., and the race begins at 5:50 p.m. The OLP's Spook-A-Thon will follow at 7 p.m.

Every week, up to 1.5 million phishing and scam emails are delivered to university inboxes, according to the University of North Florida Information Technology Services.

ITS inspects 2.1 million emails every week and prevents up to 100,000 scam emails from entering university email accounts, according to its data. Phishing and scam emails still enter student inboxes despite the efforts of ITS.
