Last Night Dan and Derek had the chance to chat with Jacksonville Armada FC Nathan Walter to talk about the launch of the Jacksonville Armada U-23 Womens team ♀️⚓️and the hiring of new head coach David Gough

Listen to hear some of Nathan's favorite memories during his time with as the team prepares to celebrate its 10 year anniversary at Ruby Beach Brewing 🍻on Feb 18.

We are really hoping there is video of Drew Beckie somewhere out there to confirm this story.

Before Nathan left, we were able to get some Armada U-23 news out of him on the names of 3 confirmed players that will be returning to the Boys in Blue this Summer.

🎉🥳🎉New Episode is Out🎉🥳🎉

I know we are a little late to the party but in this episode, we discuss Jacksonville Armada FC big announcement from 11/2 where they announced their upcoming move to MLS NEXT in what is hopefully 2025 in their new downtown stadium🏟️.

We also had a chance to sit down and speak with Owner/Steward Robert Palmer and spoke with MLS Next Pro President Charles Altcheck to see how the team fits into our new league and even ask about the chances of any future within MLS Divisions.

We were also fortunate to talk with legends Stuart Webber and Armada President Nathan Walter who have both been around since Day 1 and what this announcement meant to them and the city of Jacksonville.

Closing the Episode are some soundbites from Section 904 members who have anxiously been awaiting for this all to become reality.

Besides the amazing news from Jacksonville Armada FC finally publicly announcing their future league membership in MLS NEXT and the Stadium in Eastside Jacksonville. The team has helped us with a mission to help raise funds that will go towards giving back to the Jacksonville community.

The Armada has graciously hooked us up with a Jersey which we got signed by club legend Jemal Johnson but we also got it framed and donating it to the James Russell Fund, Inc. So they can auction it off at their 6th annual Holiday Toy Drive which will be at Monkey's Uncle Tavern - 1728 3rd St N, Jax Beach on Thursday Dec 7th from 5-9 pm.

Latest Episode is out

It this episode Dan, Derek and Ian have a chat with Jacksonville Armada FC and Flagler College midfielder Toby McCallum.

Toby talks about his National Premier Soccer League Goal of the year, his journey from Scotland to Singapore and the US.

We also talk about Toby's thoughts and goals on the upcoming season at Flagler College, and if you listen closely you can hear him break Ian's heart.

We also were able to catch up with an Armada and Flagler Legend after Flagler's scrimmage vs Jacksonville FC U-19s

Dan, Derek and Ian had a chance to make it to Flagler College Soccer Fields to watch the pre season Exhibition between Flagler's Mens Soccer team and Jacksonville FC's U19's which will be play in MLS NEXT and United Premier Soccer League.

Flagler won 4-2 and included goals from some familiar faces from the Jacksonville Armada FC with Marc Birkland (2022) getting an early goal and Toby McCallum (2023) getting a goal later in the match.

JFC which features a team of 17/18 year olds is coached by Tommy Krizanovic and did put on a good showing vs and older and more physically matured college side.

Flagler has another preseaon game coming up this weekend and kicks their season off on August 31st at home against Newberry College from South Carolina

Its Gameday in DUUUUVVVAAALLL!!!! We have Playoff footy action in the First Coast.

This is the 2 V 3 matchup and we have Jacksonville Armada FC hosting Pensacola FC. Armada did win both games played this year.

In the first matchup played at Bishop Kenny HS in Jacksonville, Pensacola jumped out to a 1-0 lead after a counterattack goal from Michael Lightborne goal in the 16th minute. Armada would come back with goals from Giancarlo Vaccaro and Keegin Ancelin to win 2-1. Penscola had 3 shots the entire game

In the 2nd game, which was played at Shoreline field in Pensacola, Armada won 2-0 after 2 goals from Saulo da Silva who was making his Armada NPSL debut. This was Armada's first clean sheet of the season despite a heavy barrage of shots from Pensacola for the last 20 minutes of the game. Fortunately for the Armada, most those balls ended up in the parking lot behind the goal and not on target (who do we send the bill to for all the dents to our vehicles?)

Tough night last night as the Jacksonville Armada FC are delt our largest loss in recent history, 5-1. Huge respect to the boys as every one to a man came over to apologize after the match.

Onwards and upwards on Wed as the first round of the playoffs begins at home vs Pensacola.

In this clip the squad give a good hard look to Southern States Celebration.

We will build off of this and come out stronger! Now for the long drive home.

Big things today in the National Premier Soccer League Gulf Coast Conference

Looks like the game between Southern States Soccer vs Florida Roots Futbol Club was cancelled. No official news from either team or the league if its an abandoned game or if it is a Forfeit which would be a 3-0 win.

Per Tally SC Talk Podcast they are noting that it is a 3-0 forfeit which would clinch a top 2 seed for the Stars and leave Tally with a 3rd or 4th place finish in the conference.

Even if the game is abondoned, SSSC would be higher on PPG.

Tally Needed a win over Pensacola combined with SSSC losses to both the Roots and Jacksonville Armada FC to have a chance at the 2nd seed.

Tallahassee Soccer Club can lock up the 3rd seed in the conference if they can beat Pensacola FC 1559 tonight. If Pensacola does win or draw, they would also need to follow up with a win on July 8 over New Orleans Jesters to qualify for the playoffs.

Pensacola can only finish in 3rd place in the conference or 5th place.

Tallahassee Soccer Club can finish 3rd or 4th depending on results

New Orleans Jesters can finish 3rd if PensacolaFC beats Tally (7/1) and Jesters beats Pensacola (7/8)

They finish in 4th if Tally beats PensacolaFC (7/1)

Nola finishes in 5th and out of the playoffs if Pensacola beats Tally (7/1) and PensacolaFC beats New Orleans Jesters (7/8)

How things affect Jacksonville Armada FC, they can finish no lower than 2nd place, and if they beat Southern States on 7/8 in Hattiesburg, they would finish with the top seed in the NPSL Gulf Coast Conference.

Tommy K has now been in charge at Jacksonville Armada FC for (40) games (including playoffs)

He has 32 wins, 5 losses, 3 draws. A winning percentage of .800. His teams over the last 3 years have averaged 2.75 goals per game while only letting in 1.025 goals per game.

In those 40 games, the team has had (110) goals. Alex Irides is still the top goal scorer with (17) but Edu Coimbra is now right behind him now at (16)

WHAT! A! GAME!

Jacksonville Armada FC beat the New Orleans Jesters 5-0 in Jacksonville to clinch at least the 2nd seed in the National Premier Soccer League Gulf Coast Conference.

Regardless of what happens this weekend with the rest of the Conference, it will set up a 1 v 2 match up in Hattiesburg vs Southern States Soccer on July 8 to determine who will be the top seed in the Gulf Coast Conference.
