“The Menu” - 2022

This film seems to be a darkly humorous foodie ode to the novel/movie adaptations of “The Most Dangerous Game,” as well as attempting to try its hand at outdoing NBC’s tv series “Hannibal.”

Unfortunately…it doesn’t rise up to being as good thematically OR ostentatiously as even the most mediocre episode of “Hannibal.” Some scenes are intentionally(?) ridiculous, and it was clearly attempting to make a point…but im ultimately not quite sure what that point was.

As an aside, the 1924 short story “The Most Dangerous Game” recently, as of 2020, came into the public domain, so it’s not a surprise to see a similarly themed film pop up this year. We should probably brace for more.

As of now, it is currently showing in theaters.

Never tasted Dragon Fruit before. It's basically like white and black kiwi. Less sweeter, you could definitely use it as a garnish for a meal or dessert. Very expensive fruit.
