Tuff Duck Music is a full service music, sound support and recording company located in Jackson, Tennessee between Memphis & Nashville. Freeman and L.

I moved to Jackson TN in the 1980's. My first gig was with international recording artist Rayburn Anthony. I was playing guitar with International Rock-A-Billy Hall of Famer Dennis Doc Wires. After that I was fortunate to work with Johnny Newman and The Stillwater Band, The Cody's House Band, The Tommy Akers Band, Mickey Utley, and Bulllettown. I have performed with TX recording artists, Ricochet,

Nashville artists Narvel Felts and Doug Supernaw. I have run FOH for Carl Perkins, several Miss TN contestants and winners, the King Bees and Jimmy Taylor. During the last five years I have traveled from Minnesota to Texas playing casinos, clubs and concerts. In 2014 we released our debut album Running From Love, The Chuck Freeman Band, with vocalist Linda Duck, currently available on ITunes and CDBaby. Recently we have released original Christmas music, Tennessee Christmas, written and arranged by C. Duck, recorded at Jaxon Records and sung by Nashville Recording artist Mickey Utley. Quite simply we are about making music. We hope to acquire new talent and allow artists a chance to have their original music heard. This is not a promise to make stars but a challenge to ourselves to get new music to audiences. It will not be easy but we will listen and advise and most of all get your music to the public. -Chuck

Many years ago I met a young fellow named Mickey Utley when I was playing with the Cody's House Band in Jackson Tennessee. Many years after that he asked me to produce his album "Get It! Get It!". I can certainly say he was one of the most talented people I have met on my musical journey. Best wishes to you Mickey Utley.

WOW! Our JMA Pre-Party is SOLD OUT! Selling out a legendary venue like the CMA Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum is so special especially it being our 10 Year Anniversary! We are so thrilled to see everyone and can't wait to watch all of our incredible performers John Berry, Jesse Keith Whitley, Cody McCarver, Irene Michaels, Gary Patrick, Will Wesley, Clare Cunningham, and Hadlie Jo!

Tickets are still available for the award ceremony on October 27th.

Incredible new music from Justin Wright and The Dirty Strings. Following an amazing first release “Cuz I Can” their second single is sure to entertain their growing audience.

I know we are about a month out but want to announce our second studio single “A Fatal Attraction” will be coming out August 16. As a result we will host a Single Release Party at Southern State, Saturday August 17. Anyone travelling hotel accommodations are available at The Meadows Hotel at 270-472-5555. Let them know you are coming into town to jam with us. Also there will be a Preshow reception at 8pm with the show starting at 9pm. Come hang with us as we celebrate yet another milestone for the band!!!

Way proud of these guys. Tuff Duck is excited to add this honor to the list of our talented artists’ achievements over the past decade.

Justin Wright and The Dirty Strings would like to thank so many people for the amazing things that have transpired over the past month. This post will be a little long but we have had so many blessings.
First we would like to thank the machine behind us that is TSK Music Management and Tara Sample McCurry and Paula Anne at Ablaze Entertainment. They have truly opened doors for us we could never imagine.
Secondly we’d like to thank Charles Freeman at Tuff Duck Music for making our debut single “Cuz I Can” come to life and get us distributed.
A big thank you to Cruisin' Country Radio and Dave Roush and Harry Teaford for spinning our song and making us ARTIST OF THE MONTH. The interviews have been sweet too!!!
We are so humbled as well to be 2x nominees for The Josie Music Awards, thanks to the Passatinos and for all that you do for Indy artist.
