Started in 1997, Simmons Creative/Production, Inc. is a full service video and audio production company in Jackson Mississippi. With 30+ years of experience and network-quality equipment, we serve clients all over the USA. From national TV shows (we've edited over 750 to date) to standout commercials to marketing videos to award ceremonies, we provide excellence in communication. Our field gear in

cludes 2 SONY High Definition pro cameras, 18 foot camera jib, 'steadicam' stabilizer, and a full lighting and audio package. Our facility features 2 AVID video edit suites, capable of editing uncompressed HD video, with a huge collection of effects, graphics and titling options. We've recently added a top-shelf ProTools recording studio. Neve, API and Focusrite mic preamps, with our large microphone collection, allow us to capture sounds accurately and beautifully. Attended the preview screening of "WZZQ The Movie" last night at MPB, with Rita Petermann Simmons . Good job. Loved the movie. I grew up with WZZQ, it was the soundtrack of when we were dating back in the 70s. Because of my Dad, AL Simmons, I grew up in radio world in this era. It was such a unique environment back then. Fun to see all the familiar faces. Great to get out with my sweetheart!

I spend a lot of time with sound mixers! Analog, and digital. If you do it well, nobody knows you're there. If there's a problem, you can be the center of attention. Done it a long time, had some brilliant mentors along the way. Here's to all the "sound guys (and girls)"!

For many years, Labor Day meant the Jerry Lewis Telethon. My father, AL Simmons, was co-host and did such a great job. With lovely and timeless Judy Moon Denson. Coming from Radio, he adapted to the unscripted format very well. Great job by the WAPT crew. Thanks to Lynn Bullock for the pix!
