The Worship Ministry of the First Baptist Church ofJackson leads the congregation in worship during the 10:30 a.m. service each Sunday and leads in other worship activities and special events. The Sanctuary Choir rehearses on Wednesdays from 6:00PM - 7:30PM in the Choir Room (located behind the Sanctuary) and sings in both morning worship services and is a part of special worship events. The Worship Orchestra rehearses on Wednesdays from 6:00PM -7:30PM PM in the Sanctuary.

Our Story

The First Baptist Jackson Sanctuary Choir and Orchestra leads the congregation in worship during the 10:30 a.m. service each Sunday. The Sanctuary Choir and Orchestra also present several major concerts each year including: Carols by Candlelight, Easter, Nights of Worship, and Let Freedom Ring. The Choir and Orchestra, as well as, First Baptist Church at large, are supported by a large and talented media and technical team.
