Your City electric crews are out and about today restoring power to affected homes as reports come in. So far, the isolated outages have been due to downed trees and fallen limbs hitting the cityโ€™s electric distribution lines.

Thanks to our mutual aid contracts, we also currently have three additional crews, 16 linemen, and several trucks on standby at the power plant who are ready to roll out should we experience additional outages.

Customers are reminded to stay away from downed power lines and call the City of Jackson at 573-243-2300 to report any problems.
