Temps are dropping, and we want to make sure our community stays safe and warm this weekend! Here are a few quick tips to help protect your home and loved ones:

✅ Leave faucets dripping to prevent frozen pipes.
✅ Bring pets indoors to keep them safe and warm.
✅ Layer up with extra blankets and warm clothing.

💙 Let’s also look out for our homeless neighbors! RIFA on Airways Blvd is accepting donations of blankets, canned goods, and warm clothing. Every little bit helps during these freezing temperatures.

❄️ NEXT UP: Another round of accumulating snowfall will impact the Ohio Valley and Lower Great Lakes region early Friday through Saturday afternoon. Trends with the system have been to the northwest over the past 24 hours, bringing the higher confidence area further into Indiana, Ohio, southern Illinois, and Kentucky.

While this event won't feature nearly the accumulations as this past weekend, it'll still be enough to cause issues on the roadways during the Friday evening commute. Current thinking is widespread 2-4" with lower amounts northwest. No ice with this one, thankfully!
