Chris Cornell Cover Of Guns N' Roses' 'Patience' Goes Online

Chris Cornell's camp are celebrating what would have been the late Soundgarden frontman's birthday today (July 20th) with the release of a special cover performance.

A new video was shared via social media and on YouTube of Cornell's take on the classic Guns N' Roses ballad, "Patience," from that group's 1988 release "Lies."

The Cornell team wrote on social media about the cover, "His birthday seemed the perfect time to share this and celebrate Chris, his voice, music, stories and art.

"It is true a man is not dead while his name is still spoken... and, through his art, an artist's soul still burns just as bright as ever upon all those that look up to him and his memory.

Ozzy, Sharon, Jack Osbourne Launching New TV Series

The Osbournes are returning to television this summer, but with a twist. Ozzy Osbourne, his wife and manager Sharon and their son Jack will star in a new Travel Channel series.

The paranormal show will be entitled "The Osbournes Want To Believe" and it will be premiering on the Travel Channel on August 2nd at 10PM eastern.

The premise of the eight-episode show will have Jack showing his parents, Ozzy and Sharon, videos of alleged paranormal activity to try to convince them of their validity.

"My parents have always lived on the edge, even when it comes to believing in the supernatural," said Jack in the network's announcement. "I'm convinced they just haven't seen enough evidence, so I'm making them watch the most undeniable footage caught on camera, including a few from my own personal experiences. My biggest challenge may be keeping their comments family friendly. It will be a classic Osbourne gathering!"

Ozzy Osbourne Guitarist Zakk Wylde Recreates Black Sabbath Debut Album For 50th Anniversary

(hennemusic) Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde will pay tribute to the 50th anniversary of the debut album by Black Sabbath by releasing a full recreation of the groundbreaking project this fall with his band Zakk Sabbath.

Due September 4, "Vertigo" sees the Sabbath tribute band - featuring guitarist/vocalist Wylde (Black Label Society, Ozzy Osbourne), bassist Blasko (Ozzy Osbourne, Rob Zombie) and drummer Joey Castillo (Danzig, Queens of the Stone Age) - deliver their faithful rendition of the Birmingham group's first record.

Legendarily recorded in a single day in October 1969, Black Sabbath's self-titled debut was released on a Friday the 13th in 1970, fifty years ago this year.

The hit 1990s MTV animated series Beavis and Butthead are making a comeback, but this time they will be coming to Comedy Central.

The network has inked a deal for two new seasons of the show, which originally aired on MTV from 1992 through 1997, with an additional short-lived reboot in 2011.

Series creator Mike Judge had this to say about the return, "It seemed like the time was right to get stupid again." The Comedy Central deal is said to include two news seasons, additional specials and spin-offs.

Chris McCarthy, president of ViacomCBS' entertainment and youth group had this to say, "We are thrilled to be working with Mike Judge and the great team at 3 Arts again as we double down on adult animation at Comedy Central.

The new cover video was shared by the heavy metal themed talk show "Two Minutes To Late Night" and features Clutch frontman Neil Fallon, Cave In's Stephen Brodsky and Adam McGrath, Carcass' Tom Draper, Converge's Ben Koller and bassist Jordan "Gwarsenio Hall" Olds.

Filter's hit single "Take A Picture" has received a special cover from past/present members of Filter, Cold, Breaking Benjamin, Candlebox, and Lifer.

Cold Guitarist and Lifer frontman Nick Coyle brought the all-star assembly of musicians together virtually for the cover and the making of the Corona Sessions: Take A Picture video.

He was joined by Geno Lenardo (ex-Filter guitarist and songwriter) on acoustic guitar, Brian Quinn (Candlebox lead guitarist) on acoustic guitar, Johnny Nova (Cold guitarist) on electric guitar, Lindsay Manfredi (Cold bassist) on bass guitar, Chad Szeliga (Black Star Riders/ex-Breaking Benjamin drummer) on drums and Aaron Fink (Lifer/Earshot/Ex-Breaking Benjamin guitarist) on keys.

The Pretty Reckless Announce First Tour Since 2017 and will bring the show to Nashville in May!

The Pretty Reckless have announced that they will be returning to the road for the first time since 2017 when they launch a U.S. headline tour this spring.

The band will be playing a mix of headline shows and music festival appearances. They will kick things off in New York City on May 5th and wrap up the trek on May 24th with an appearance at BFD in Dallas.

Vocalist Taylor Momsen had this to say, "It's been a long time since we've been out there and we're excited to hit the road this spring. The new record is almost finished, the songs are incredibly personal, but we're ready to start sharing what we've been through the last couple years with the people that mean the most to us, our fans. See you all soon!"

Hate to hear this too...Ozzy Osbourne Cancels North American Tour

Ozzy Osbourne has announced that he has been forced to cancel his rescheduled North American No More Tours 2 retirement trek due to treatment for his medical issues.

His camp says that he will be heading to Europe for medical treatment after he completes some promotional efforts for his new album "Ordinary Man," which hits stores on Friday.

Ozzy had this to say, "I'm so thankful that everyone has been patient because I've had a sh*t year. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get to Switzerland for treatment until April and the treatment takes six-eight weeks.

"I don't want to start a tour and then cancel shows at the last minute, as it's just not fair to the fans. I'd rather they get a refund now and when I do the North American tour down the road, everyone who bought a ticket for these shows will be the first ones in line to purchase tickets at that time."
