A list of some things that really stuck with me this year.

Also just wanted to mention that we released two records that I couldn’t be prouder of. James Corrigan’s ‘Take Time’, and my LP, Cimiotti “Homelife”. Thank you to everyone who listened, encouraged, or purchased.

I am proud to announce my newest LP, Cimiotti - Homelife (CIM-016). This LP was largely crafted in my bedroom in Queens at the height of the COVID pandemic. It was a time of immense personal and professional change for me. I was processing the end of my life as a member of Beirut, and the start of my life as a parent and Transformational Coach. It was a time of deep introspection that couldn’t have been possible without the support of my family and community.

I was using this music production as a way of documenting my inner world. I was inspired by the work of artists like Rodelius, Fripp & Eno, and Ashra (to name a few). It is mostly guitar based work supported by synthesizers. This record is entirely instrumental.

This album is dedicated to my family, Jessie, Carlo, and Roma.

Tom and I worked, played, and drank tea endlessly over a couple of years. I would drive up to Nyack in the mornings after dropping Jessie off at work. If you don’t already, I would highly recommend incorporating experimental music making into your friendships.

Brooklyn friends. I am so excited to announce this one! One of my absolute favorite artist/producers from Italy is going to be playing her first US set at on Monday 5/6. I will be opening the night with a set of songs and guitar music, and ever versatile will be closing the night with his art-pop songs. This wonderful record is finally up in the Cimiotti Recordings webshop! If you ever wondered what it would sound like for James to put together an LP of songs, this is it. It sounds like Spacemen 3 if they had somehow formed in the 80's downtown Kitchen scene. Highly recommended and limited quantities available.

On Saturday, February 3rd, Cimiotti and Connor Whiriskey (Cut Mistake Music) will be presenting a collaborative improvisation at Miles McEnery Gallery in NYC. This will be part of the closing reception of Emily Mason's "Thunder Hurried Slow" exhibition curated by Dr. Barbara Stehle.

We are honored to have this opportunity to perform amongst these incredible works, and hope you can make it out to see us.
