I’m a writer, filmmaker and curator who loves studying.. I thrive on every moment of the creative process, from inception to completion. How do we consider ourselves proficient and or pros if we don’t love to ‘study the craft’ and be selective with our time to ‘perfect our art’.
Grateful for passionate creatives.. nothing like it, you know it when you see it. 👀 Remain inspired. ✨✨

Women’s History Month. March 13, 2024 will mark the 4th year of Breonna Taylor’s untimely passing. What happened to Breonna was a tragedy, one that has never left me.. although I did not know her personally, I think of her often. Extremely grateful to speak about Breonna and other incredible women who have deeply impacted my life, personally, professionally and artistically.
When Kalisha and I started WATZS Productions we did so with the understanding that we had something different to add. From leading with our values, investing in Black writers, filmmakers and businesses, providing opportunities for minority creatives in front of and behind the camera to curating stories dedicated to our nuance perspectives and layered experiences as Black Americans and minorities.
Thank you Amanda 🫶🏾 and KLTV for inviting us to share our experience on empowering women in media and the making of FRAME OF REFERENCE. We’re extremely grateful for the countless remarkable women making the world a better place. ✨✨
