Beloveds, We would like to speak on the subject of 'Feeding The Ancestors'
When we start out in our relationship with our ancestors it can become very confusing with all that is out there.
Yes, There are many ways in the many traditions on feeding the ancestors. But for now we speak to those who are starting on their journey of remembering.
In almost every tradition a candle is lite, some sort of essence, herb is burnt to call apon the Divine Ones. More candles of different colors could be added but lets keep it simple for now.
Spirits come to 'call' so speak or sing from your heart.
Always arrive at your space with time to do and speak without having to rush. ' Feeding The Ancestors' could be introduced to your everyday time with them.
Not necessarily asking of them but rather tending to them, uplifting them in gratitude and with humility.
Items like flowers, herbs, water, cigars, brandy, beer, wine are appreciated. Remembering that fragrance, smell is an important factor in how the spirits 'eat'
Today I offered Jasmine growing in our garden as the scent is heavenly and so uplifting to my own spirit. I knew straight away my ancestors would so appreciate exsperiencing the arrival of Spring.
Sea water is another staple offering in my space. Food can be introduced later and we will speak more on that subject another time.
We pray that this short video and sharing will inspire each of you, to listen deeply to your inner compass.
Remembering there is no right or wrong way when you are starting out. Look at the traditions of your blood ancestors and foreign spirits. Some of us are initiated into traditions that are not necessarily of our bloodline. Always honor those traditions with humanity, respect and appreciation. Be curious about the traditions and practices of your bloodlines and find your truth.
Showing up in relationship with your ancestors each day is uplifting in its self.
Makhosi Amakhulu!!! Blessings on high.

Giving thanks!! to the Bees.
This hive is gifting our community with so much medicine, please notice the 'strong mama' that this community of bees have chosen to make their home in.
Mama tree is certainly not shy in showing her spirits to those that see.
I was visiting to show my respects and giving thanks to the bees before this hive was taken away. Yes! Our community was frighten to live with the presence of bees.
May we remember that we are ALL connected, to fear another breaks down the medicine the circle has to offer ALL.
Makhosi Lorna
Fear holds us trapped in a repeated cycle.
Each visit inviting us, drawing us out more and more. Until the day arrives when we are able to stand up strong and fearless. Facing our fear so that it no longer has a grip on us.
What a day this will be filled with joy and jubilation.
Remember you are loved by many, you are supported. Connect to nature, meaning take time to sit in nature. Turn off your cellphone and be present. Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin, the breeze gentley swirling around you. Cleansing you and uplifting you. Feel the earth beneath your feet, speak to Ma of your worries. Listen for the answers. Nature is our ancestor, each part of nature has its own particular medicine. Our bodies are designed to be in nature. Our fears and pains become lighter in the shrine house of Nature.
Makhosi!!!
Blessings of love from the Big House of the ancestors.
Gratitude to the grand mothers, today and everyday. It is apon your shoulders I stand upright and strong. It is from your strength, your storytelling, your wisdom, joy and pain that I walk placing one foot infront of the other.
I am because you are. Makhose!!!!
Deep gratitude.
Our willingness to take root is required for the journey.
Grandmother medicine.
Greeting, this incrediable moment.
I am deeply moved, as the driftwood reminds me of the old, beautiful bones of our ancestors. The many ancestors lost at sea, as they crossed the oceans as slave, young bride, traders, or adventurers of the new world.
Makhose!!
Loving on my amadlozi/ ancestors at sunset.
Makhose!!!!
Animals know exactly what medicine they need for their well being.
This is our handsome Shadow, he visits daily with this particular plant medicine, Lions Tail. He delicately picks one leaf at a time and only what he needs.
His very relaxed powerful presence really carries the magic of this powerful ally.
