Chris Paul was given a ball and plaque with the names of every teammate he ever assisted to on his way to 2nd all-time in assists!

13 years ago today, David Stern vetoed the Chris Paul to the Lakers trade. 6 days later, CP3 was traded to the Clippers for Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu and a future pick (Austin Rivers).

CP3: "Me and Kobe were just wired the same. His talent was outrageous but when we played against each other, we were about to fight just about every time because our energy was the same. I don't know how to not play for real. Preseason, regular season, All-Star game, let's get to it. Every All-Star game me and Kobe played together, I don't think we ever lost. So I hate that that opportunity didn't get to happen, especially at that point of my career."
