I picked up this Frederick Cooper bronze lamp at a thrift store for $9.

His lamps can sell for crazy money—I found a similar one with a pig that went for $1,300. While many of his designs bring in high prices, the only record of this particular mouse lamp is a sold listing from 2008 for $130.

It looks like his work has jumped in value in 2025, and I’d estimate this piece is worth somewhere between $300-$700+.

The only flaw is some peeling on the corners of the lampshade, which could be repaired. It's made of heavy cardboard with a vinyl layer, but overall, it's in great shape.

At the end of the day, this is the reselling game—making educated guesses based on data and experience.
