Baby Ross is home! He had his surgery today and is doing great! I paced all day waiting to hear that he was in recovery. He looks just adorable in his little surgical suit and is so hungry. Making a little boy skip breakfast is the worst. Now his forever mama Jelissa and I can both breathe a little easier.

Occasionally a kitten is born with an umbilical hernia. Typically they repair on their own as the kitten matures or it can be surgically corrected at the neuter surgery. Sweet Ross has one that is a bit larger than we or the vet like. He is having surgery to repair it on Monday. Please keep this little guy in your thoughts. He is perfect.. he just needs a little help.

These two are half brothers however not raised together. They are obsessed with each other when they have play dates and definitely like to throw hands. I think Joey wants to be the only ginger and is peeved. Not to worry, Columbus got some punches in and everyone is fine. Play fighting is what kittens do.

Kittenpalooza!!! All of the Explorers and Friends had so much fun playing together today. Well.. almost all of them 🥺.

The puppies are exerting considerable effort in exercising self-control, but their desire to demonstrate affection, albeit excessively, is somewhat bothersome to the cats. Windsor appreciates the fence. Lucy weighs 4 pounds, Snoopy weighs 8 pounds, and Windsor nearly weighs 20 pounds. We still aim to protect Windsor from being overwhelmed by the puppies' exuberant displays of affection.
