Nearly twelve years ago (!) I wrote this blog post for Americans for the Arts with advice for organizations who were looking to create online content for their organizations. Looking back, I think my advice holds up pretty well, even after more than a decade. It's still not about "going viral." It's about producing content that your target audience enjoys and values... and that communicates your messages effectively. The tools and platforms will always change and go out of style - but great storytelling doesn't.

A couple years ago, we helped North Central Michigan College embark on their new capital campaign - about one month before Covid hit. It's fantastic to see them hit their $10 million goal and complete their beautiful new Borra Learning Center. What a huge step forward for Petoskey.

Finally getting around to updating the Demo Reel. This one is probably not going to make the cut... but I still love it. Just a subtle way of making old photos come to life. This is an image of Marshall Fredericks, the artist probably best-known for creating the Spirit of Detroit.

This spring I worked with the Leelanau School to create a series of portraits and short interviews. Each person in the community has their own story to tell - and when you put them all together, it paints a remarkable picture of the whole community. It's a simple - but powerful way to connect with those who value the amazing things that happen at the school.
