Game Spotlight: The Armadillo Pumas!

The Armadillo Pumas uses the Avatar Legends system and is DMed by the amazing Waddles. It is one of the newer games on Irrational Radio and has been a big hit with the members involved.

What is your favorite part about being part of Irrational Radio?
It's been such a welcoming group to meet and hang out with. I've only been in the discord about a month, but I felt like a part of the community pretty immediately.

What is your favorite thing about the game you're currently running?
Avatar Legends is system that really sings when players feel comfortable making bold, dramatic choices. And this group of players has made GMing that easy, they're so much fun to play with, and I'm excited to see what they do next!

Warhammerguyg is a newer player of TTRPGs and actually got to play his first ever TTRPG on our server.

What is your favorite thing about being in Irrational Radio?
The community and how helpful and well-accepting everyone is,
for getting people like me who never played a ttrpg before into the hobby
those are pretty much my favorite things about this server.

What do you love the most about tabletop games?
I guess what I love most about them is being able to play your own characters and tell a story with them.

Noah is a joy to have on our server! He is an active participant in a lot of games and is fun to be around. He always shares his amazing artwork and is always one of the first people to give a new member a welcome greeting or wish everyone a sweet nightmares.

Presenting our very own Bathrobe Wizard who is one of our oldest members, and a founding father of our community. He is also a professional DM and has hosted some of the most epic games in our community. He's also the Rusty Nails bartender and has taken our play-by-post to some of the craziest settings.

What is your favorite thing about being part of Irrational Radio?
The fact that any time I have an idea for a session, a battlemap, or an activity, there is a big group of interested and kind people ready to help me polish it!

What is something nice you can say about the IR community?
This community means the world to me. The people here are kind, intelligent, and thoughtful through and through. I couldn't be prouder of the friendships that have been made here, the relationships that have begun, and all the fun we've had throughout the years. I hope that in another 4 or five years I can still come back here for a good laugh and a great time. ❤️

Meet our DM of the Month, Ausper!

Ausper brings a lot of joy and memories to our community by hosting some of the most awesome games we've ever had. You know Ausper is running a game when their players rave about all the adventures in our chat! Ausper truly brings a sense of wonder, happiness, chaos, and even horror to Irrational Radio!

What is your favorite thing about being part of Irrational Radio?
Ausper: When I first joined IR, I didn't know anything about twitch or anything. When I joined, I got to interact with people of similar gaming mindsets who were (for the most part) pretty chill. I enjoy chill vibes, and IR was a place I could make friends who could just chill and game. Now, with how I interact in the server, it feels like IR is the primary place my friends are since I interact with them.

What are your favorite types of games to run and why?
My favorite types of games to run are probably the ones that take place in my little timeline. This includes a previous campaign I ran in IR, Ol' Chicago, the one I'm running on stream, and a few other cool projects that, unfortunately, didn't really pick up much steam, like a play by post that took place in 1300's India. To sum up the games easily, it's D&D 5e with a dash of Lovecraftian Horror and with casual fun when it's not supposed to be spooky, since horror is not my forte.
