Wessex Press is pleased to announce our new website!
After twenty years, it was time to upgrade both the look and functionality of our online store. Our new site gives us much greater flexibility to make updates, feature special offers, and provide enhanced order fulfillment.
The new www.WessexPress.com features all three of our Imprints:
WESSEX PRESS: We're rightly known for publishing Sherlockian titles. But occasionally we feature books of interest to our readers that aren’t strictly Sherlockian. These appear under the Wessex Press imprint.

This new site is smart phone and tablet friendly. It may be "always 1895" in our hearts, but it was time to leave behind the Internet of 1995...
We are now processing sales through Shopify Payments. This means we can accept all major credit cards, as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay and MetaPay
International sales are currently disabled. This feature of our site is still in the works. Shipping internationally has changed greatly since we started selling internationally nearly three decades ago. Not only has delivery become more uncertain, it is also more complicated to build into a website. We will make an announcement once this function is back in place.
Our shipping rates have changed. Wessex Press has not adjusted its shipping and handling rates in a decade, and these have now been adjusted to reflect current costs. We understand shipping is ridiculously expensive, but we want to assure our customers rates are reflect current postage and fulfillment costs, with nothing extra added. Wessex Press does not profit off of shipping.
