What was meant to be a short three-hour hike took a dangerous turn when he became disoriented due to recent wildfires.

McClish survived on wild berries and managed to collect about a gallon of water each day from a waterfall using his boot.

He was eventually spotted by a drone operated by the Santa Cruz Sheriff's Office and found unharmed.

The agency rescue operation successfully brought McClish back to safety, reuniting him with his family.

In Turkey, a man reportedly abandoned his su***de attempt after being offered food.

He was Known as the "Su***de Traveler"

The 33-year-old had climbed to the rooftop of a five-story building in Manavgat, Antalya, in what was his 232nd attempt to take his own life.

Armed with a knife, a noose, and a plastic bottle of gasoline, he sparked panic among bystanders as first responders rushed to the scene.

During negotiations, he admitted he was extremely hungry. In response, officers ordered him a shawarma (döner kebab), which ultimately convinced him to step down.
