RIP Tyler Trent. He may have lIved a short time -- but he was an example for many people about making the most of the time we have.

Tyler Trent, the Purdue super fan and community inspiration, has passed away after his fight with bone cancer.

Glad the Colts are back in the playoffs (Playoffs! Playoffs?), but is it asking too much that they act like professionals when they score a touchdown or make a key defensive play? The Steel Curtain never acted that way or the Purple People Eaters. Walter Payton flipped the ball to the ref and trotted off the field when he got into the end zone. Are a couple of high fives and few pats on the backside no longer enough?

I recognize that I may sound old and out of touch.

Now, get off of my lawn!
