One of the best people I know (Colton Nelson) is trying to make a push to get one of the best records I have heard across the finish line. The music industry isn't what it used to be and its difficult for new artists to get their debut albums funded. A cheap album these days would cost somewhere in the ballpark of $5000, before printing and publishing. Colton believes in these songs so much that he and his wonderful wife Izzy have bank rolled it on their own. Most of us listen to music without ever thinking about the blood, sweat and tears that goes into writing, recording, producing and releasing these songs that magically pop up in our Spotify playlists. If you have a few extra bones and want to help push this baby bird out of the nest, consider donating to the cause. I promise you won't be disappointed unless you happen to hate good music. Out Now! This is the first full production release out of our studio and I couldn’t be more honored to have been a part of it. This is one of the most special songs I have ever had the pleasure of working on. I’ll never forget the moment we knew we captured the final vocal. Colton was in the tracking room and the control room was packed with friends who had been very chatty all night. As Colton started to sing the room fell silent. There was something really special in the air. I proceeded to be choked up for like 20 minutes and I cried several times during the mixing process, which if you know me is a little shocking. That’s a testament to the sincerity and deep talent from which writes and performs. Thanks to everyone who poured their heart and soul into this beautiful production( ) and to for letting me work 16 hour days to get this project done in our tiny window of time. I couldn’t be more proud of Colton and the crew.
