One of the best people I know (Colton Nelson) is trying to make a push to get one of the best records I have heard across the finish line. The music industry isn't what it used to be and its difficult for new artists to get their debut albums funded. A cheap album these days would cost somewhere in the ballpark of $5000, before printing and publishing. Colton believes in these songs so much that he and his wonderful wife Izzy have bank rolled it on their own. Most of us listen to music without ever thinking about the blood, sweat and tears that goes into writing, recording, producing and releasing these songs that magically pop up in our Spotify playlists.
