Introducing: ‘Penncast: Off the Record’. A podcast critics are calling unhinged (but in a good way), unapologetically real, and questionably wise.

The critics in question is just Chat GPT, but let us know if you agree! To watch, go to ThePenn.Org or our YouTube channel . Be sure to tune in bi-weekly.

Exciting things happening here at The Penn! We’ve launched Artistic Perspectives, a digital gallery that reimagines campus life through a creative lens. Every Wednesday, we’ll showcase artistic images exploring themes like architecture, nature, live performances, and portraits.

This project celebrates creativity and invites viewers to see the hidden details and artistic elements of the spaces, people, and moments that define IUP. First up: architecture. 🏛️

Resident Assistants flipped pancakes for a fun late-night snack during a Pancake Night, hosted by the North Area Residence Hall Council.

From 8 PM to 10 PM, students enjoyed plain and chocolate chip pancakes with syrup. For just $1, students could get one pancake, or they could grab 3 for $2. Pick-up stations in Northern 116 and Wallwork G-98 were open for students to grab their treat, while a $1 delivery option brought pancakes directly to their doors. The event offered a relaxed atmosphere for students to unwind and enjoy a comforting snack together.

We were incredibly honored on Wednesday to be presented with a legislative citation at the State Capitol in Harrisburg in honor of our 100th anniversary.

And perhaps it’s only fitting that what is believed to be the first all-female Editorial Board in The Penn’s history was on hand to receive the citation.

The citation was co-sponsored by State Reps. Matt Gergely, who is an IUP alum, and . We will forever be thankful to these two gentlemen for bestowing this honor upon us.

Last but not least, we’d like to thank all the alumni and former editors who traveled from all corners of the state to join us for this special day.

IUP's Student Veterans Organization (SVO) hosted Lt. Col. Erich Steffens (IUP ROTC) and Bryan Seal (Ret. Navy) for a powerful conversation about service and sacrifice on Nov. 6. Read about the lead-up to Veterans Day on The Penn's website.
