Little food for thought.

Patience visited me
And it reminded me
That good things take time to come to fruition
And grow slowly with stability

Peace visited me
And it reminded me
That I may remain calm through the storms of life
Regardless of the chaos surrounding me

Hope visited me
And it reminded me
That better times lay ahead
And it would always be there to guide and uplift me

Humility visited me
And it reminded me
That I may achieve it
Not by trying to shrink myself and make myself less
But by focusing on serving the world and uplifting those around me

Kindness visited me
And it reminded me
To be more gentle, forgiving and compassionate toward myself
And those surrounding me

Confidence visited me
And it reminded me
To not conceal or suppress my gifts and talents
In order to make others feel more comfortable
But to embrace what makes me me

Focus visited me
And it reminded me
That other people’s insecurities and judgements about me
Are not my problem
And I should redirect my attention
From others back to me

Freedom visited me
And it reminded me
That no one has control over my mindset, thoughts and wellbeing
But me

And love visited me
And it reminded me
That I need not search for it in others
As it lies within me.

The struggle has been real, but it's paying off and I have you all to thank for it.

I started my business back in July, 2018 but didn't really do anything with it except educate myself. I was very nervous and felt overwhelmed starting my own business, but I'm so glad that I did. In 2019 I started taking it more seriously, but only working it part-time. I had to because at that point I was unemployed due to the company I had worked for went out of business and I had 4 little kids to take care of.

My business was really starting to take off. I was so excited. Then COVID hit which hit my business hard. People cancelling all of their 2020 trips. I did well enough in 2019 to help me survive through the tough times, thank God. Plus, I had my residual income still paying me for the work I had already done by teaching others how to do what I do.

2021 and 2022, it was getting better, but many people were still pretty nervous traveling. Most of my clients just kept to the states for their vacations. There are so many beautiful and breathtaking sites to see here in the US. If you get the chance, you should go see them.

2023, it was getting even better. It was going to be my record year since I started my business. Still on the low side, but for part-time, it was doing really well. I booked $51,352 (not including my residual income) in travel sales for the year. Not bad for part-time and I had only 1 cancel but rescheduled their trip for 2024.

I am very proud to say that this year is going to be way better than last year. It's only been 2 months and 2 and a half weeks into the new year, and I have already surpassed last year's sales. I'm still in the process of booking 6 more trips, but as of this moment I have booked over $53,000 (not including my residual income) in travel and I'm still doing this part-time.

I recently had a client reach out to me for a last minute, multi-city trip to Greece. They were going to book with Costco, but since I've helped them in the past, they were curious to see what I could do for them. After doing some research I was able to put the exact, apples to apples itinerary, as Costco and I saved them $1500. That is just an amazing feeling being able to help others save that kind of money on their dream vacation.

I know many of you are busy and think you don't have the time, but I promise, you do. If you love to go on vacations or you love to help others travel, you're really going to want to take advantage of all the benefits this can give you. Friends and family, who have questions or concerns about MLM businesses. I just want to be super clear on this topic. Multi-Level Marketing is a business structure. They provide a business or service and recruit others if they choose. You can choose to be a customer, or you can decide that you want to also become a "promoter, distributor, consultant" and create your own business within their structure, with the option to recruit others to do the same or not. The choice is yours.

These businesses are EVERY BIT AS LEGITIMATE as brick-and-mortar establishments, and I 100% support these businesses, as long as they are operating ethically, same as every other business.

Some of the most successful people I know personally have found their success in MLM's. Others don't find success there at all. As with any business, it's all up to the product, service, structure, work ethic, personality, and how much time and effort each individual puts into the business that determines how successful one can be.

For a relatively small start-up investment, you can build your own business and grow it (or not grow it) as a direct result of your own effort. What is more American than that? (And yes, I'm personally part of a MLM, but that's my personal choice - I have been doing it for over 5 years and it's been a positive and fruitful experience.)

Finally, What is a pyramid? Similar to an MLM type structure regarding recruiting, BUT NO PRODUCT OR SERVICE IS EXCHANGED. For example - Bernie Madoff - Ponzi scheme. THAT is a pyramid. THAT is illegal. What is NOT a pyramid? Tupperware, Avon, Amway, Color Street, PlanNet Marketing, Pampered Chef, Pruvit, Pink Zebra, Mary Kay, Pure Romance, Dresden & Co., Paparazzi Accessories, Herbalife, Rodan & Fields, etc. These all involve a product or service.

So please, no more bashing of MLM's. Welcome and respect everyone's businesses, wish them success, and hope you can support their efforts!!
