**7 Years of Gratitude**
In the last 7 years I (Chris) has been coast to coast and beyond capturing and streaming all kind of stories for hundreds of clients. March 2016 SteadiReadi was born.

I’m so grateful for the opportunity that everyone along this journey has enabled me to do. I’ve had a blast, but most of all I’ve learn so much! I’m so glad that I’m just getting started.

**The Best Mics Ever?**

Very Possibly Yes!

The DJI Mic is a set that includes 2 Transmitters with 1 Receiver.

Details: 2.4GHz system (wifi 6). Basically a Rode Go 2 set with some REALLY great differences.

How's it compare to Rode Go 2's?
-Receiver connect via Lightning or USB-C with included adapters. NO more cables!
-Receiver has a touchscreen that adds many settings control including VOLUME for the Receiver Output AND EACH TRANSMITTER OUTPUT!!
-Transmitters have a similar alligator clip for connecting on clothing AND adds a magnet to attach UNDER clothing!
-Unlike a worthless pouch that Rode includes, DJI's case is also the charger.
-Each Transmitter and Receiver mount on a computer as a thumb drive WITHOUT needing a special app that takes FOREVER to download the recorded audio files. 👏
-The Fit/Work with the Rode Handheld Mic kit! 🤯

Downside compared to the Rode Go 2:
-5.5 hour battery life compared to 7 from the Rodes. However -- charge in 70 min to full which happens to be almost a full lunch break for all day events! Pop the transmitters and receiver in the case and you'll be ready to finish the day!
-The charging case is HUGE in comparison to the soft pouch by Rode. Worth it though when it comes to night time charging -- The Rodes required each (3) device to have a USB cable. This change alone saves me a $100 charger and less stuff to deal with everyday.

Is this the best thing for audio EVER? Yes. No doubt. They improved in all areas that matter most.

**Apple M1 Max FCC Filings Are In!: WiFi Transmit Power (Hotspot)**

Punchline: 23dBm max transmit power (M1 iPad Pro is 22dBm. iPhone 12 PM is 21dBm! It means potentially longer range. In testing range is significantly improved.

Which channels have the longest range: 149-165.

23dBm max power is 240mW! This is higher than the AMPLIFI Alien!

While The FCC hasn’t released the M1 Pro filing, Apple almost NEVER change wifi power capabilities between flavors of the same hardware. Meaning the numbers could very well be the same for all versions of the 14 and 16” 2021 MBP!
