We are excited to announce that our pilot for Save Point has received five nominations for this year's Content Media Conference film festival, including Best Comedy TV Pilot Script, Best TV and Web, Best TV and Web Director (Josh Cox and Blake A Ciampa), Best TV Actor (Matt Gross), and Best TV Actress (Venus Monique)!

We got all of the music finished up for the Save Point pilot last week, and I'm so incredibly thrilled with how it came out. Huge thanks to our amazing composer David Vest, who did a fantastic job on the soundtrack!

Lots of progress on post-production lately, more updates should start flowing soon. We can't wait to be able to share this show with everyone.

Meet the cast of Save Point! Here is Alyssa Orozco, who plays Avery, a high school student and love interest of Sam, the son of our main character.

Hey! I’m Alyssa. I’ve been acting since elementary school and I was so excited when I was cast as Avery. I’ve always loved acting and I hope to pursue it as my career. I’m so thankful for this opportunity, and I’m so excited to see how God uses this show.

Meet the cast of Save Point! Here is Tate Christensen, who plays Ethan, a football teammate of Sam, the son of our main character.

From Tate:
My name is Tate Christensen, I have been acting on stage for 10 years. I've been film acting for the past 2 years. Acting is my passion and what I love to do. I have been in several short films and other projects. I had a blast filming Save Point with everyone. I am honored to be a part of the cast and I cannot wait to see where it takes us!

Meet the cast of Save Point! Here is Cleofas Soto V, who plays Cameron, the best friend of our main character's son, Sam.

Cleo started acting in elementary school. He currently participates in school theater, & musical productions. This past summer he was excited to be a part of a feature length film and get his first IMDb recognition. It is Cleo’s goal to pursue a degree in performance arts and have a successful career in the industry. Cleo is so grateful to Josh Cox and Bezalel Films for the opportunity to take part in a faith based project.

And we are grateful to have Cleo on the show.

Meet the cast of Save Point! Here is Cameron Patterson, who plays Alan, one of the programmers that works with our main character, Jason.

Cameron Patterson is an actor based out of Dallas, TX. He is originally from Omaha, NE and has been acting for 8 yrs and truly enjoys the art of acting. He started pursuing acting even more when he moved to TX and began taking acting classes where he started honing in on his skills. Cameron also has a passion for music and plays piano. He is a music producer that specializes in hip hop, R&B, and Lo-Fi.

Cameron's energy in the role of Alan is hilarious and a lot of fun to watch. We are blessed to have him on the show.

Meet the cast of Save Point! Here is Scott Jameson, who plays Keith, another senior game developer that works with Jason, our main character. A little about Scott:

Scott was five years old when he first stepped on stage and fell in love with the roar of the crowd. After many years of doing live theater, he's now primarily an on-camera actor (film, television, commercials, new media) and also does voiceover work.

Scott stars as the character, "Serket", in two upcoming feature films (“The Talent Process” to be released in Spring 2023 and its sequel, “Serket”, targeted for a Spring 2024 release), both of which are slated for limited runs in theaters nationwide and will be available on multiple streaming platforms.

When he's not grooming and admiring his signature beard, Scott enjoys singing in his church's choirs and occasionally ringing handbells there.

Meet the cast of Save Point! Here's Naza Usher, who plays Morgan, a video game developer that works with our main character, Jason.

Currently based in Atlanta, when Naza is not on set, she stays busy helping with her family in ministry, creating her own content on her YouTube channel and trying not to sing too loud in the shower. Committed to philanthropy, she serves as a founding board member and the board secretary for the House of Artist Foundation, a non-profit organization that teaches life skills and the arts to individuals on the autistic spectrum. She also performs regularly with Atlanta Theatre To Go in nursing home communities for Seniors. After receiving her BA in Theatre from SUNY Buffalo. Naza launched an acting career on stage. Her regional and New York theatre credits include Street Scene with Brave New World Repertory Theatre, which was named one of “The 25 Best Stage Shows of 2013” by TheLMagazine.com. She has also performed with Open Hydrant Theatre, the only AEA ensemble theatre company in the Bronx, Growing Stage, White Plains Performing Arts Center, and Black Spectrum Theatre. Devoted to working with children, Naza has performed as a storyteller and teaching artist in New York City and New Jersey with various organizations including ENACT and Winceyco. A few of her film and television credits include, Walkaway, STIL, Endless Summer, Clipped Wings, They Do Fly featuring legendary actor Bill Duke, Hap and Leonard, and the TV-One hit show, Fatal Attraction.

Meet the cast of Save Point! Here is Mercedes Cox, who plays Mackenzie Lewis, the 14-year-old daughter of Jason and Natalie, and Sam's younger sister. From Mercedes:

"Hi there! I'm Mercedes Cox. I was born and raised in Texas. I'm very excited to be working on this project along with so many amazing people. I have been acting since I was eight years old, mostly in theater. I love music, my family and friends, and most importantly, God. I am very excited to see what He has in store for Save Point."

Mercedes brings an incredible energy to the show and the production as a whole. She is also one of the writers for the show, and worked as an Assistant Director during filming days when she was not acting. We are very happy to have her playing the role of Mackenzie.

Meet the cast of Save Point! Here's Dante Donaldson, who plays Sean Watson, Jason's neighbor/friend/online gaming partner.

"My name is Dante Donaldson. I have been a stage actor for 40 years, and in the last 4 years, I have ventured into TV, commercials, film, and producing.. Most recently, I have been involved with some Faith based feature films where you can see me in co-starring roles. The films are: "Ink" and "Shooting Doves". Both are due to come out sometime next year. You can also catch me in a National commercial for a company Old Dominion. I am also very proud of the short film that I helped produce as well as featured role, "Libra", which can be found streaming on Cube Stream. You can also find me in a series called, "Wildfire", which is available on Amazon Prime."

Meet the cast of Save Point! Here is Samuel Bass, who plays Sam Lewis, Jason's and Natalie's 16-year-old son.

"Hey there! My name is Samuel Bass, I am from Arizona where I live with my twin brother Lucas. I am a YoungLife leader here where I help high school students form a relationship with the Lord. I enjoy playing guitar, dancing and hanging with friends and family!"

Production on the Save Point pilot is rolling along smoothly. We've got just two days of filming left on September 10th and 11th.

Meet the cast of Save Point! Here's Venus Monique, who plays Natalie Lewis, the wife of our main character, Jason.

Venus is an award-winning actor, a lifelong Texan, and the founder of Personal Powerhouse, a Christian company that strengthens young women.

She's one of the lead detectives in the faith-based crime drama, Vindication. The series has won numerous awards and just finished filming its third season.

Venus started her business, Personal Powerhouse, with God's prompting and uses it to strengthen young women through mentorship, community, and life skills. She leads The Powerhouse Sisterhood which is an online membership where she and other Christian actors mentor young women in the film industry.

God is growing Venus' career as a speaker and has also given her the desire to start a production company with solid Christian women.

We are thrilled to have Venus bringing her incredible talent and experience to this show!

Meet the cast of Save Point! Here's Matt Gross, who plays our main character, Jason Lewis.

Matt Gross has loved to act for as long as he can remember. He acted throughout his entire high school career and through his sophomore year in college. Following graduation he opened his own restaurant and, for those of you in retail, you know that’s a daily acting gig. After moving his family to Austin Texas, he wanted to continue to do something with acting so he’s been directing one of his churches local nativity’s for the last four years. He’s excited and humbled to be a part of the show!

And we are excited to have Matt on board!

We're very excited to be beginning production in two days on the pilot for our new show, Save Point, a Christian family sitcom about a video game developer (and formerly devout atheist) adjusting to life as a new Christian and trying to lead his resistant family to faith. This photo is from our writer's room, as we put the finishing touches on the pilot script. We can't wait to show you more.

Save Point Cast Announcement and Production Update!

We're ramping up for the start of production on the Save Point Pilot. Filming begins this weekend!

With that, I wanted to send out another update video to get you all up to speed on all the preparations.

A little more about the characters in Save Point: the show follows the faith journey of our main character, Jason Lewis (Matt Gross) and how that impacts his relationships with his wife Natalie (Venus Monique), his son, Sam (Samuel Bass), and his daughter Mackenzie (Mercedes Cox). Jason just became a Christian through his friend and neighbor, Sean (Dante Donaldson). At the office, Jason works with fellow video game developers Morgan (Naza Usher), Alan (Cameron Patterson), and Keith (Scott Jameson). The pilot episode also follows Jason's son Sam, who's friends, Cameron (Cleo Soto) and Ethan (Tate Christensen) try to help in asking Avery (Alyssa Orozco) on a date.
