Rain will fade away tonight and we could wake up to more patchy fog. We are forecasting highs in the lower 90s Monday and Tuesday before our next Weathermaker pulls into town Thursday. Model guidance is trending towards a wet Thursday with up to 1" of rain possible in many areas Thursday into Friday. This could be followed by an awesome weekend ahead! Details today at 5 and 10 on WAFF 48 News.

Friday evening storms remain possible in areas that have not had any rain today. Rain cooled boundaries are out there and could trigger a few strong storms as the interact with the hot and muggy air ahead of them. Additional storms can be expected each afternoon this weekend. Highs will be in the 90s.

Highs will be close to 100 Thursday and then again Friday but we do have the chance for a few thunderstorms so maybe the heat won't last all afternoon. There will be more humidity over the weekend so even with highs falling back into the lower to middle 90s it will probably still feel like 100. Relief will arrive next Wednesday with highs in the lower to middle 80s.
