Listen up! We are nearing the end of the semester, so make sure to stay on top of these deadlines.

Course Contract Certification forms should be uploaded to the Honors Blackboard. This also applies to Study Abroad and Internship Certification forms.
Volunteer Hours should be uploaded to the Honors Blackboard.
Thesis Progress & Outcome Reports should be upload to the Honors Thesis Course in Blackboard.

All of these forms are due by 11:59 PM on Friday, December 12.

The Honors College

The Honors College is designed to attract and retain highly competent and motivated students and seeks to create an intellectual and social climate that encourages students to develop their potential both in and out of the classroom. To this end, the Honors College creates a community of scholars, wherein both students and professors interact and challenge each other in developing their abilities.

Specifically, the Honors College provides personalized instruction and mentor-ship opportunities in supporting the University's overall mission of high academic standards and community service. Graduating with Honors from Sam Houston State University provides definite advantages for students entering graduate or professional school, as well as those starting out in their chosen profession.
