Artic air update:

60s-70s starting off tomorrow across the Deep South with temperatures dropping over 30 degrees in 24 hours starting tomorrow night. Across the Deep South states especially near the Gulf of Mexico. No one is expected to be above 30 degrees. Also winter storm possible across the south. Trending towns New Orleans, South Mississippi and Alabama.

South Winter storm update:

Winter storm warning now till 6PM tomorrow night. Heavy snow now till 10:30-11AM till freeezing rain expected with ice till 3 before we all back to snow with a hard freeze tomorrow. Temperatures will not make it above freezing all day Saturday. Anything on the grown will be on the ground till Sunday. Temperatures expected to be in the low 40s Sunday.

Winter Weather across the South:
Winter storm warning expected for parts of the south as of 6AM. 5-8 inches of snow and and ice accumulations expected for some.

Winter Weather:
Winter storm watch will be upgraded to a warning later tonight.
All schools closed across middle Tennessee and all of North Alabama on Friday. 6-8 inches expected across the northern part of the state. Heavy snow from 5AM-12. Some may mix with ice or sleet.

Also food storage across all supermarkets. Don’t wait till the last min. As we know from last year. It will be impossible to travel Friday and Saturday and part of Sunday maybe even part of Monday.

Wind Advisory begins at 3PM CT today (Sunday -3PM CT tomorrow(Monday) worse of the winds during these times.

Timeline 6PM-12AM. Tropical storm force winds as the cold front passes. 1-1.5 inches of rain expected North Alabama. Southern Tennessee. Ice and snow expected in parts of north Tennessee and also Kentucky and VA. Possible wrap around moisture may give parts of the Deep South flurries.
