FYI

Starting the week of October 28th, Safe Step, a Village-hired contractor, will be working in the Wing Pointe and Georgian Place subdivisions to survey the public sidewalks. They’ll be identifying areas where horizontal saw-cutting can be used to fix uneven panels. This process is efficient and cost-effective, ensuring safer and well-maintained pedestrian routes throughout the Village.

Once the survey is complete, Safe Step will return in November to perform the necessary cutting. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact the Public Works Department at 847-515-5200.
