Traffic to shift on U.S. 24
HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announced Thursday traffic pattern changes on U.S. 24 in Huntington.

Starting on or after Friday, Aug. 18, traffic will be switched to the outside lanes on U.S. 24 from west of Flaxmill Road to east of Guilford Street.

This traffic shift is part of the ongoing construction on U.S. 24 to build slotted left turn lanes at the major intersections from Flaxmill Road to Broadway Street.

INDOT encourages drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when travelling in and around all work zones.

SHELBYVILLE, Ind. — A statewide Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 19-year-old from Shelbyville last seen on July 26.

Logan Meadows is described as a white male who is 5’8″ tall and weighs 135 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and was carrying a black backpack.

Meadows is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical aid.
