STAYING WITH yesterday's boat theme - second top installed in the primary cabin head on the 90' Johnson. Got to love the funky shapes in these vessels! Designer is using the Carrara Emporio throughout for continuity. Next up: Galley and last head. Stay tuned!

SMOKIN'...No, not that kind; I'm talking about new color, Stonecrest Smoke. We're super excited to use this in our outdoor kitchen - I couldn't wait until fab/install to see how it would look with a few items that will most likely find their way atop (double pun intended!) once it's put into full use. The bold pattern will be a great counter (dang, again) point mixed in with a couple of other surprises. Stay tuned...!

HOW LOVELY is the scalloped edge countertop in this bar in Philadelphia? I don't know what product or color as I nipped it from Insta, but I can spot one of our products a mile away. If anybody recognizes it I would love to give a shout out to what looks to be quite the tasteful establishment...

OK, SO...our backyard overhaul has been underway for several years; but progress is being made! Fireplace hearth - Supreme Dawn will figure into other areas as well. Got the mini-golf in and finished the palapa over the weekend. Stonecrest Smoke will figure prominently on the front bar top of outdoor kitchen. I just sort of set it over a piece of Lauhala matting that will clad that part of the cabinet. Kevin made a couple of shot "glasses" out of bamboo ends to cap off a successful palapa install day!

THERE'S SOMETHING so soothing about a monochromatic space in general and this particular shade seems especially becalming. A lovely addition to newest collection of colors, Artista Mist. The Corian website describes it "as though appearing from a soothing v***r" and "slightly mysterious". Love the esoteric description, but you get the idea...

THE WORD TEXTURE isn't usually top of mind when thinking about countertops. Pattern and color, perhaps; vibe - maybe...Yes! Bianca Sabia has a beach-y, textural vibe. Makes one think of walking along the sand wearing a classic fisherman sweater, picking up shells and driftwood and spotting a crab in the rocks by the jetty.

RARE DIAGONAL seam on this Mt. Crema Carrara countertop because of the insane pattern. Had to shave off millimeter by millimeter before we achieved a satisfactory match. It's the little details....

THINKING COOL THOUGHTS during the heatwave; specifically boat related activities. What better than a nice large Arctic Ice table with drink holders ready and waiting for platters of ice cold watermelon; a salty charcuterie platter and frosty glasses of a favorite beverage - gin and tonic with lime and mint comes to mind...

A BRAND NEW Location of coming to Huntington Beach! What a great place. There is more than just juice; roasted chickpeas, dried fruit, fresh fruit cups, healthy pre-made sandwiches. You'd think we worked there or owned it...We did, however do work on it as you can see by the crisp Modern White countertops. It's not just the food served that is healthy - it's the healthy surface the food is served on! Non-porous, bacteria resistant; clean, clean, clean.

HOW FUN to install this new color called Ever After; winner of Kitchen and Bath Business product award 2023 as well as - Architectural Record’s product of the year 2023. Talk about a double Whammy!

Durasein came into our radar about three years ago and blew us away with its entirely new aesthetic featuring barn wood textures, linear patterns and veined offerings; finally something without a bunch of spots! I do, however like the Terrazzo’s that some of the other mfg.’s have introduced -even though they technically have spots…

Anyway, back to Durasein. Check out their Instagram, and website to see all of their patterns and color and textures.

Walking the walk…This @coriandesign integral sink is 22 years young because using ABRASIVES actually keeps an acrylic solid surface product fresh, renewed and regenerated. Kind of like dermabrasion…
