Posted on Saturday by Tim Haraden in the “Today in Hull, MA” Facebook group: One of the best things about my membership in the Ancient and Honorable Artlillery Company is the ability to rekindle a relationship with our old parish priest, Father (COL) Ed McCabe. (Here we are pictured together in Croatia about 5 years ago.) Many of our fellow members get a kick out of the fact that I was one of Father McCabe’s altar boys for nearly 10 years. I have thoroughly enjoyed his company and he was of great support to me.
I have not seen Father in a little over a year, but I recently found that he is in hospice care. He is unable to receive many visitors, but our current chaplain did visit him this week and reports that “it is a difficult time” for Father McCabe.
I know he would enjoy receiving cards of support from his old parishioners.
Fr. Edward McCabe

Please keep him in your prayers.
