Westbound I-70 closed at Goodland

The Kansas Department of Transportation has closed westbound I-70 at Goodland because of severe winter weather conditions in Colorado. Motorists need to be aware the closure could last until Saturday or longer.

In addition, it may become necessary to close more sections of I-70 or other highways in Kansas to help motorists from becoming stranded as accommodations and truck parking areas fill up.

Motorists are advised to buckle up and stay alert for changing road and weather conditions.

For the latest updates on road closures and conditions, visit www.kandrive.gov, or call 511 in Kansas or 866-511-5368 outside Kansas.
