Quantum Eccentric Studios (QES) is a Limited Liability Company that was built to bring unique games & stories to the market. The founders of QES are best friends Robert Cauley and Nathan Johnston.
Robert & Nathan enjoy creating stories, the two of them created an Omniverse for their characters and for their stories to play out. The Omniverse became the back drop for all of their projects to include their longest ambition, the table top role playing game (TTRPG) Quantum Lapse. Novels have been written with the synergy of the Omniverse.
Through their love of playing TTRPGs, they discovered faults in the current gaming systems. The three major issues that the two observed were; the lack of player freedom, inconsistencies with gaming mechanics, and the excessive and often contradictory rules of the gaming systems.
The Co-Founders have designed a TTRPG gaming system that not only provided more freedom to the players but also remained consistent and synergetic. The two friends called this new gaming mechanic Statistical Synergy (Stat-Syn). Currently QES is testing Stat-Syn for balance and fairness.
